Good and friendly customer service . There was a young man near the door counter and he was kind and so helpful. He help me to book appointment for new account and activate my mobile banking.

The ladies at the front are always helpful, cheerful and seem to know everyone's name. The others that work behind the scenes are all pleasant and have answered any questions I've ever had. My investment councillors know what they are doing and have guided my personal and business investments with success. Always a pleasure visiting!

Not my fault but someone hit me yesterday and totaled my lincoln so right now is a bad time!!!!

Wanted to open and account, have to make an appointment. Try to make an appointment over the phone, get put on hold indefinitely. Try again the next day during my lunch (1pm) get put on hold again, waited about 5 mins. Long story short customer service is a joke. I have a considerable amount from my RBC account to transfer. I guess they just don’t care

Have called advisor several times and left messages without a response. This is a time sensitive matter.

Nothing but 30+ minute wait times with out of country call centers, no directory list to be able to leave a message. All I need to do is close my deceased mothers account.Most robotic garbage bank I've have dealt with. Thank god I'm with BMO, woulda been handled in 10 min.

This is the worst customer service system. There is no possible way to connect with someone at the local branch unless you know their extension or name. In my case, the contact info is no longer valid therefore I receive no service as their customer service center was also unable to help.

Visited the Simcoe Branch today to open a simple bank account. Arrived at 4:20 pm, bank closes at 5:30 pm. Rude teller asked if I had an appointment, unfortunately no, as I work and live out of town and was in the area on short notice. Teller informs me that they can’t accomadate me as they are too busy. I was the only person in the building? I asked if she could check as my investment advisor had sent me in to specifically deal with setting up the account. The teller then went to check with the balance of the ‘all too busy’ staff; returning moments later to state they couldn’t see me and I would have to come back next Friday. I reminded her that next Friday was Easter; she then stated it would have to be in two weeks!

Really ... Well Scotiabank have a nice day!

Mr. Tom O’Neil ... I’ll see you at the next Annual Shareholders Meeting; guess I failed to notify everyone that I hold a considerable amount of Scotia stock in my investment portfolio! Stock I will be selling in the near future !

ATM never has money...don't try it...it has failed on three different occasions...
