Walmart Supercentre

I am not reviewing for myself but to compliment seeing how your staff treated, and was kind, compassionate, and empathetic to an individual both in their presence and, most impressively, outside of their presence today. They needed help with a medical situation and the staff showed up. Fantastic job!

I’m a frequent shopper at the North Walmart in Red Deer AB. There is an employee there by the name of Katherine. She always greets me and asks if I need help finding anything. I give her five stars!!

Always has what I need, if not I can get online thru Walmart. 💯

i absolutely love this Walmart, even tho many crimes have been committed in the parking lot i can always count on the discount rack!! and my nieces and nephews LOVE the toy section, they always have a great selection of everything (even tho the roof tiles above the freezer section look kinda moldy and the front bathroom is always nasty) the bathroom in the back is always nice to take a dump! love the craft section and all the drama and tea i get to hear ad witness during my daily shopping adventures! wonderful submersive experience indeed!!

Wanted to quickly make a positive review especially in today's age of so much negative out there. Family and I have been doing our weekly $250-300 Walmart orders on the Walmart app since COVID-19 started. We found the ease of the app and ordering so easy and user friendly that we continue to do this to this day. Yeah sure there will be a few substitutions here and there but overall great job by the Red Deer North Walmart staff. The hard working employees that push your grocery order out should get special thank you. The current employee that we have had the privilege of dealing with past few weeks is awesome and always friendly. Thank you, JP, from Walmart north Red Deer making our experience that much better.

I received a phone call from Walmart north, Red Deer. Accalia, the department manager was doing a follow up, from my reviewon August9th. She apologized she is going to get back to me to find out where the break in the chain was.She was professional, understanding, and very willing to work with me to rectify the problem. Walmart is very lucky to have her, and it's because of her and the way she dealt with the situation, I will be going back there. Thank you, Accalia.

I've been doing the online grocery orders since pre covid, and I've always had such a positive experience with the team at this location. I moved to the south end of town, and I still do my orders at the north location because honestly, the other location just doesn't compete with the customer service I get during my pickups. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and speedy... I mean, it helps that most of them stop to say "hi" to my bulldogges. In all honesty though, they are just a great group of workers, and I will continue doing my pick-up orders at this location for as long as they are offering the service. Thanks you guys!!

I want for people to know about this amazing young lady who went way beyond her job to help me today !!! Her name is Melodie Laderou ♥ After helping me finding what I was shopping for then realized I misplaced my phone she took out her own phone calling mine until we found it! Thankyou so much Melodie! What a nice company to do business with, they deliver faster then expected on most stuff, are professional on the phone when calling in, great help at the self checkout , but i prefer cash and floor staff too. But over all as long as you watch the product you buy it’s always a good deal and the stuff that was garbage they take back without an argument. Funny they have been around this many years and I have only made it to the store three or so times twenty years ago … look what I have been missing … which lead me online i love the online, but not Canada post as they don’t actually delivery the house they have excuses all the time. so I called and now they send my stuff fedex. that is awesome as I am disabled and unable to get out much. i loved so much I spent more money and then more money and pan to switch to their groceries too.

I love coming here for the international food selection. I actually drove 2 hours to buy a $6.00 item from there. ( Coconut milk powder) . This Walmart seems to have a better selection for lunch snacks too.

I had a excellent experience at Walmart. The Garden Center manager Margaret was so wonderful and helpful. She helped me save some money and had great ideas for my garden. Very helpful and I'm on my way back to see her again 😊

Was shopping for presents, and asked one of the workers(who was extremely busy)…for help in finding something, She was awesome!!! She went above & beyond for me, looking to see if it was available in any of the other Walmart stores !!! All with a heartwarming smile ~ Of all the Walmarts around , this is my favorite store… Thanks bunches !!!

Cara (store manager) was an absolute pleasure to deal with. At the risk of sounding like a Karen, I unfortunately ran into a circumstance where I had to call upon the assistance of the manager at Walmart North in Red Deer today. Regretfully, I have been in this situation before in other stores, so I was not expecting much in terms of resolution.
I couldn't have been more wrong! We were absolutely blown away by her professionalism. She listened patiently and eagerly to my concern, acknowledged my frustrations, relayed back to me what my issue was (in order to ensure it was being interpreted correctly), offered me compensation for my minor troubles, AND then she took steps to ensure it would never happen again right in front of me! This is RARE, and in my opinion, she exuberates the archetype by which all manager/leaders should live up to. I will continue to remain a long-term dedicated customer thanks solely because of her handling my issue today. Thank you Cara!

Great spot right off of the highway. Can't miss it. Super friendly staff and tons of selection. I was most surprised to see that they sell old fashioned BBQ flavoured chips. The clothing selection is great and the store is a typical Walmart layout so it's easy to find everything.

Good place to one stop shop

If you need a new phone go see McKenzie at parkland Walmart. She was able to get me a deal that Bell customer loyalty said they couldn’t, plus a 300$ Walmart gift card. I never leave reviews but honestly this girl deserves a raise or promotion. Super helpful, extremely nice and patient. Thank you so much McKenzie!!!

I was having trouble ordering a product online for pick up, there was one left in store and it wasn't letting me pick that one up. I called in and was connected to a young man named Colby, not sure if the spelling is right. He was helpful and polite and went above and beyond to go and find me answers.

Dealing with big box stores can be tough to track things down or find answers in an efficient manner.

Colby made it easy. Heck, I'm writing a review because of him and all 5 starts are his. lol

Eric is a amazing employee. He went above and beyond when my child's McDonald's fries got dropped on the floor he went out of his way and bought a replacement. Just made our day.
