Kennedy's Parable Red Deer

It's a lovely place with so many different items to explore and purchase. The staff is very friendly and eager to help you find exactly what you are looking for. They have books, decore, calendars, journals, jewelry, dvds, music (cds, and records), bookmarks, candles ... and so much more! They have a listening station for you to check out the music before purchasing. You can create a customer account when purchasing, and then you collect points with each purchase and get invited for certain sales/deals, etc. They have a great children's selection and a little play area for the kiddos, too. They have large washrooms in the back of the store for customer use as well. At Christmas time, they have several Nativity displays and decorations to choose from! There is plenty of parking in the lot surrounding the store, including several handicapped stalls. The store is very bright, spacious, and clean. There are big aisles and plenty of room to wander around and check out everything - which makes it really easy for anyone in a wheelchair and/or walker.

I love that they have big selection of Christian books or items. I haven't tried ordering online from them. But whenever we visited Red Deer, we come here.

A lovely store for any person who loves God! This location has many books for men, women, children and a huge devotional section. Bible accessories, music, decor, and figures. This place is a great option if looking for a gift. There is also a huge selection of bibles and bible covers/carriers. Let's keep this place in business!

So glad we have a fabulous Christian supply store in Central Alberta!
Just heard the cafe is coming back again, renovations are in order and there will be an opportunity for shoppers to enjoy a treat or husbands to rest while their ladies shop. I heard the estimate is @5-6 months.

Conveniently located next to several other shops in Central Alberta such as Costco. A great place for the Christian community to gather and find out what is going on. E.g. purchase concert tickets etc.

A great selection of music, DVD, books and gift-ware. The staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. Anything you see that is not in the store they will be happy to order it from you and call you as soon as it arrives.

I really love this store! The prices are beyond fair and everything is really quality. The staff is always friendly and this store just has a great atmosphere. I wish there was a Christian book store like this in every city, and I wish could buy all the home decor stuff! I always make time to stop by on my way through town.

I love this place! First time we shopped there was years and years ago and even though we are from Calgary, whenever we have to buy something for baptism, first communion..... that's the spot we go to as we know there's always something amazing that we'll find!

Love this place. The atmosphere is so peaceful. You can browse for home decor, books, music, and husbands you can just have a seat (or nap) in the wing backed chairs while your beautiful wife takes some time for herself...no excuses!

While many people like to buy online, I really enjoy the opportunity to touch and experience books before I buy them. Kennedy's Parable has a great selection of books of all types (Bibles, devotionals, study material), men's and women's faith journey books, kids books, Christian fiction, music, movies, posters and gifts. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. This store is a highly recommended source for Christians

The store has a huge variety of items at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and helpful. My friend will travel all the way from Edmonton on a semi regular basis to shop here!!

Always so lovely to stop in there!

I always make sure to stop here going through red deer and in the other location in saskatoon. It always has a very calming atmosphere and I never have a hard time finding a new book, although in recent years I feel the number of books in the store has dwindled and they moved more into the gifts and DVD/ CD side of sales which most book stores have gone into, especially Christian book stores like this one. My only complaint is to the city of red deer itself for the road construction they continually do outside adding in the round abouts. I cant get to the store without going through one, and this is literally the only place I have been to with this many round abouts.

Easy access off the main Street.

Great Christian Book store and more, huge selection of Books CDs and other one of a kind gifts. Would highly recommend. Worth the drive from Calgary.
