Great pub - large, clean, cozy and friendly staff/service. There is a good amount of food choices here as well. If you can make reservations, I would advise you to do so. This place gets very busy and being a walk in...I had to wait a little bit but respectfully. The food is consistent and not bland and with a big enough portion to keep you full for a while. As far as pubs go, this is a good one to go to.

Nothing negative to say about this pub! Cozy, inviting atmosphere and delicious food: we had the lobster bisque, pesto linguine, and red Thai curry. Fantastic! Lots of choices for vegetarians. They do tend to close early (between 8-9pm most nights) so make sure you arrive with plenty of time to enjoy a meal and drink.
(P.S. We saw no sign of any of the restless spirits that supposedly haunt the premises.)

Had lunch with my mom. What a nice restaurant. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, great food. I had nachos, that's just what I was craving. They were good. Great amount of toppings, could have used a few more chips but still really enjoyed it.

Excellent all around! The Beef Soup side was incredible and all meals ordered were enjoyed. This will now be our go to spot when meeting friends out.

Best patio and pub food in Port Perry! Great service, good portions, fun drinks, big menu and easy street parking.

Tried the nachos, wings and potato skins… along with some beer and a Killer Koolade! Really nice patio, shady side under the trees, or brighter open side with umbrellas and a great street view.

Very enjoyable, will be going back to try the burger!

One of my favourite pubs in Durham. The staff are incredible and are always so happy to greet and serve you!

I’ve had most of the menu over the past four years - you can’t go wrong. Fish Tacos are incredible!!

Thank you, Jester’s Court!

Jester's is a Port Perry classic.

They've been on this spot for a long time now. Serving good food in a beautiful setting.

The patio is fantastic. It features plenty of shade provided by a tree canopy, umbrellas fill in for any spots the trees miss. A nice green space sitts adjacent the patio. A little creek runs through it. It's very peaceful and pleasant.

The service is always very friendly and helpful.

On this trip I had a Chicken Sandwich and fries, of course coffee to drink. Everything was great.

Just one of many great stops at Jester's Court.

I really enjoyed my lunch at Jester's Court. The service was stellar, the waitress was attentive without being bothersome.

The Caesar was delicious with just the right amount of spice. Interesting food combo on the skewer.

The club sandwich had generous amounts of roasted red peppers, chicken, tomato and a tasty aioli, it came with a homemade cheddar ale soup, also delicious.

The ambiance is quaint and quiet. Very enjoyable.

I e had a large party of 19 people on Jan 6,2023 at 5pm. Please let the server know she was the most amazing well organized server and so attentive. I took my son out for a lunch date today. It was a fantastic experience. The kids menu had a great selection as did the regular menu. My son got the fish and chips which was a large portion for him but he loved it and ate quite a bit. I had the beef dip which was delicious as always. The server was lovely and patient with my little guy.

Really enjoyed my lunch today at Jester’s Court. I had the goats cheese burger which was really tasty. You could tell the burger itself was fresh which made a big difference. The club sandwich was also very nice and available as a gluten free option for my wife. The liver and onions was also reportedly very nice as was the portobello panini. Overall, very tasty and enjoyable! Nice little spot in Port Perry!

This restaurant serves FABULOUS, home made food. We sat on the patio and had food that was the best I have had of this type in at least 4 years. I had a portobello mushroom sandwich. It was magnificent - warm with toasted bread and plenty of mushrooms, cheese and red peppers. The fries that accompanied it were obviously fresh cut and made in house. Wonderful. Other members of our party had burgers and fries which they also said were fabulous. Our server, Taylor, was also excellent and provided top level service. One of our party is gluten free and they gave her a burger with a gluten free bun. The whole experience was wonderful. Thank you to the brilliant people running this restaurant.

Introduced to Jesters by our cousins Rob and Karen, Jesters became our restaurant of choice after the first visit.

Since being introduced we’ve been back many times sitting at the bar and throughout the dining area, and it’s safe to say that there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff always knowledgeable and super friendly, and the service and food exceptional.

I first fell in love with the goat cheese burger but my family and ai have started making our way through the menu…we haven’t found anything that we wouldn’t order again and again. The two things that I would not leave without having after a meal is their sticky toffee pudding and their coffee. I rarely eat desert at other restaurants but once you’ve had this pudding it becomes an addiction.

The only negative I can offer is that they close at 10pm. I understand why, but sometimes a guy just wants a pint and sticky toffee pudding after 10pm lol.

Do yourself a favour and venture in. We’ve never been turned away just walking in, but it’s always best to call and make reservations.

I haven't been here for a while. I went in with a buddy for a beverage. Great atmosphere, staff very friendly. Great experience. I plan to go back for some wings. I remember that they were delicious.

Waitress was very pleasant and described in detail today’s mouthwatering specials (Overheard the other waitress just naming the specials to her customers which, if that’s all I would’ve heard, I wouldn’t have ordered the ab fab special that I selected). I ordered the pan seared haddock with grilled vegetables and a delicious fruit-almond sauce on a bed of rice - absolutely fabulous, with enough rice and veg to take home for dinner. The patio was lovely and shaded. Recommend.

Jester’s Court is my comfort restaurant. It is the perfect place to go on those nights where you just don’t feel like cooking. A great neighborhood spot with really amazing staff and lots of options.

A repurposed house, with a lovely outside patio with great food. We were lucky to have a sunny day for a girls lunch. I had a yummy portobello mushroom sandwich with goat cheese on French bread with a delicious house salad. ( wish I’d taken a pic) The chicken quesadilla was also noted to be good. Friendly staff and lots of parking on street or closeby at Foodland. Port Perry is a cute little town on a big lake - Lake Scugog. Lovely day trip from Toronto.

A very inviting and tasty spot in Port Perry. The spinach salad was excellent, as was the Reuben. Also interesting to hear about the ghost lore

We stopped in 2 weeks ago for a late lunch and had a very nice meal that seemed to be prepared fresh and not something frozen and re-heated. Server, missed her name, was friendly and quite a sense of humor. She was telling us the story of the little red squirrel that was begging for food.
