Tristan and his team were excellent at helping me promptly and inexpensively resolve an emergency issue with a flat tire on an early Saturday morning, when another shop claimed it was not patchable and would require waiting to order and pay for a whole new tire! I appreciate such help knowing how busy they likely were.

I am writing this review to share and reward the exceptional service I received from Midas in Brentwood Bay. Two days before embarking on a holiday road trip, the check engine light in my Ford F350 came on. I called Ford and was advised that they could not fit me in. I drove to Midas without an appointment and after explaining my predicament to Paul, he said he would see what he could do. He then diagnosed the issue, called around and found the replacement part required, arranged for an after hours courier and then the next day, which was the Good Friday holiday, opened the shop and had a technician install the part - all the while keeping me updated by text messages. Absolutely above and beyond customer service! I would highly recommend Midas in Brentwood Bay to anyone looking for customer service oriented and professional mechanical services. Thank you Paul and the Midas team - you saved my vacation plans!

I would give this business and its owner a 6 (or 11! ) star rating if I could for their extraordinary customer service today. I limped in 90 minutes before they were due to close for the weekend. Paul (I didn’t at the time know he was the owner) immediately brought my truck in for diagnosis. Shortly afterwards he told me the part I needed couldn’t be delivered until Monday. I couldn’t rely on my truck even to get me home, and nor could I leave it there until Monday or later. Realizing my predicament, Paul got on the phone and found the part from a different supplier and, as it couldn’t be delivered in time, sent one of his employees out to pick it up. He then had it installed even though this meant keeping an employee there after hours - at no extra cost to me. I drove away in full confidence (Paul also double-checked that everything was again functional) 45 minutes after their closing time. In my quite long life I have never, in any situation, received such over-and-above-the-call-of-duty assistance, and Paul didn’t even seem to think twice about doing it. The business location is inconvenient for me, but I will be taking my truck there for all its needs henceforth and I encourage everyone to do the same. Business owners like Paul help give me hope for humanity. Thank you so much, Paul - I look forward to being one of your clients in the future !

My tire was going flat so I stopped in and explained the situation to Paul who immediately came out to take a look at it. He discussed some options with me and I decided I'd like them to put the spare on so I could carry on with my day while they would fix my tire and let me know when it was ready. He asked an associate to put the spare on and I was back on the road in about 15 minutes. The whole vibe of this shop is friendly and relaxed while still being very professional. My experience here was excellent!

Al and Gary helped me get back on the road super quickly after we found a nail in my tire. Paul was amazing in ensuring that the tires were ordered within one business day and did a full inspection to ensure it was road worthy before allowing me to drive. Amazing customer service! I’ve been a MIDAS Brentwood Bay customer for three cars over @35years and have met THE best service people. All have great personalities and awesome work ethics. Last month I had to visit them unannounced a few times after some mysterious BCAA dead battery boosts. The first time, cheerful & friendly ‘Brandon’ immediately dropped everything & made it job #1 to check over my KIA, checked it over for 40 minutes, drove it & tested my battery twice. Results? Both tests: “Good Normal”. My Midas charge for all his work? $0.00 Later, on another visit, he took a deep dive into the battery and learned there was, after all, some hidden corrosion on the battery affecting its operation. A new one was installed. Problem solved. All through these visits, Brandon was enthusiastic, polite and thoroughly explained what had happened to my battery. Brandon is a new employee yet he truly lives up to the high bar that service agents and technicians have set at Brentwood Bay MIDAS. Thanks Brandon

Good customer service and great with answering questions. The sent link with pictures and description of inspection is super helpful as well. Would definitely recommend getting oils changes and service here

Able to get my car in on short notice and make it safe for the drive home. Techs worked late to get the brakes done. Tried to sell me some more expensive parts, but switched to cheaper parts when I asked for them. Overall great service.

My 94 yr old mother-in-law takes her car here all the time for tune-ups, checks, winterization and light repairs. Mike knows her by name (Esther F.), knows her car and has immense patience/understanding. We picked up a nail in the tire on Christmas Eve, they took the tire in, fixed it and put it on even though they were swamped. Thanks Mike for the wonderful care for our "mom's' Toyota! Awesome shop!

When I took my summer tires to be installed, Midas folks noted they were 10 years old and suggested new ones. They quickly found some, gave me a deal as well as advice for my upcoming trip. Service above and beyond. Many thanks!
