I usually go to one place in Markham for my eyebrows. However it was almost an hour drive. I have looked, tried 20 other places and nothing worked for me.. I mean literally those many places.
So my mom visited me from India and she has never had a proper haircut for past 6 yrs. She is dark-skinned with thin hair. Her confidence level was too low. As I was scrolling through Google for a good place for a hair cut and eyebrows, I stumbled upon this wonderful haven.
I called and booked my appointment with the owner, she was kind enough to accommodate my last minute request. I usually make it to appointments on time but my bad, I was 10 mins late due to traffic but she was very courteous and kind.

I wanted to do something special for my mom she did exactly the same. Grey coverage and a fantastic layer haircut with eyebrows for both of us. Trust me, in 10 yrs I have not seen my mom being so confident and happy. She loves her hair cut. 😍 I am glad and can't thank you guys enough. The whole team was welcoming with a smile on their faces 😊

If I am impressed and the service is good, I don't mind spending time to a give a detailed review. You guys deserve it. I will be moving to Oshawa this April but keep in mind, I will be happy to drive all the way here.

Initially I booked for a hair spa and a cut. I was impressed the way how my hair turned and during the blow dry I requested for face clean up. Service was great and so is the staff.

I am so much happy with my hair colour. They did exactly what I wanted with a combination of purple and red highlights and it came out so good than expected . Would definitely recommend this place 10/10.

I went to get the styling done and was too afraid since it was my first time doing it with layers, the ambiance was really welcoming and the staff was excellent too. The owner did amazing job to my hair! I told her my concerns and choice of style and she did a WOW job! Highly recommend this place.

Just had the best haircut and colouring at this salon. The shade I chose came out exactly as I had hoped, and it beautifully complemented my skin tone. I opted for layer cuts and partial highlights. The highlights were expertly done, adding depth and dimension to my hair without looking overly artificial. I was amazed by how well-blended and natural they appeared. I had been referred to going to Sawan & on week of Jan20/24, I made it ! Amazed I was at the friendly welcome greeting I had by all. They were prompt, efficient & also an economical experience, that I had re waxing. Definitely will refer others.

I got hair cut and colour done. The stylist changed my look and I love it!!! The colour is so beautiful and suits my complexion and skin tone. The stylist asked about my preference and needs and carefully advised me throughout the whole process. I will come back again. The ladies are all amazing at their job and what they do. They are well experienced. I will definitely recommend Sawan to anyone looking for a women owned and women serviced hair salon that is hijab friendly as well.

I used this shampoo and conditioner for less than a month and my hair feels so soft and healthy. I had terrible hairfall and now it is really reduced. Highly recommend it.

I went in for eye brow threading like twice , I dint wait for even like 5 mins, they attended to me so fast and they do the service so well !! This minimal waiting time is the best thing !! Eye brow threading that they did was amazing , I got so much compliments from my friends and relatives !! I will keep going back here for eyebrow threading and will also try other services soon.

I went to Sawan Hair this afternoon and my hair looks AMAZING! I never had a haircut for many years, and as a hijabi, i’m very impressed! The staff is very kind and attentive to your needs and they recommend certain beauty items (i.e shampoo, conditioner, serums) that your hair needs to be and stay healthy. The facility is clean and hygienic. I highly recommend coming here!!

Just came to get my hair cut and hair coloured. Renu and her team did a great job! My hair is very dry normally but now my hair looks and feels really nice and healthy. Renu really took her time and understood my vision. Also as a hijabi, this salon was inclusive and had accommodations for me to be able to get my hair done with a divider up. I highly recommend comming here!

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for years, and it’s difficult to find a salon that does it right. Other places will do the job in perhaps two minutes, and it’s a hit or miss. I find the women at Sawan are friendlier, and more importantly, they take their time! They certainly don’t rush you out the door! The salon is also clean, bright, and modern.

I had my hair colour don’t at Sawan, and I am 100% satisfied with their job. The staff provided great customer service as well .
