This is a fantastic place with very good food at an exceptional value. I had the beef enchiladas and they were very good. Be careful indicating your spice level, I ordered a med level and it was very spicy. I like hot foods so I was fine but if you are not accustomed to really spicy foods go light.

Tastes very authentic, the ingredients used feel high quality. It's really a hidden gem in Red Deer. I drive between Calgary and Edmonton quite often, and it's the 2nd time I stopped on my way for lunch/dinner. I'll be making it a more common occurrence. Highly recommended.

Little restaurant tucked away in an unassuming spot. Step through the door into an incredible experience from the decor to the food and service. Excellent meals, not expensive by any means and super friendly service. We'll be back! (7 is hot. You'll find out what I mean!)

Loved going to this little hidden gem. I loved the authentic south American food. I had the hard taco and had a level 8 spice. Did feel good and the heat was perfect for a hot 🔥 fan like myself

What a hidden gem! The enchiladas are the best I have ever had. Love that you can choose your hot sauce level from 1-10. I got the #8 and it was amazing. We also got the empanada and it had the most tasty corn bread batter ever. This was a truly a treat, and a new found favorite. Very authentic. The owner is so endearing. You can tell there’s love and care put into every dish. The ambiance was also great and we felt like we were actually on a mini holiday right here in Red Deer. La comida aquí es la mejor!

I ate there last night, excellent food and a friendly staff. They are not shy about cranking up the heat if you like your food spicy.

We went to Jose Jose for dinner last night. The food is amazing, has a home style feeling as it's cooked all from fresh to order. Papousas ✔ on point, empanada was hot n crispy and my friends said their shrimp dish n steak dish were also exceptional. Had the burrito supremo and fajita burrito also and both r a gooood. Huge portions definitely to fill u up and have left overs for such a good price. I've never has beans so friggen good omg!! Mom n pop operated and ran which is cute. They even took their time to speak a little Spanish with me!

Typically my goto Mexican restaurant is Las Palmeras in Red Deer however I ended up trying Jose Jose this Labor Day long weekend and was blown away by the food there.

The decor was kinda tacky but really fit the setting. The beef burrito was amazing! Will definitely be back!

As close as it gets to eating an authentic Mexican home cooked meal. Everything is fresh and tasty. Can't say it enough this place is awesome.

5 of us went for lunch. Each of us ordered something. Every meal was fantastic, hot and delicious. We will definitely be back.

THE BEST LATIN FOOD I'VE EVER HAD IN ALL OF ALBERTA, from Edmonton to Calgary to Red Deer I am beyond impressed!! So authentic, delicious, and the portion sizes are spectacular. Please go out and support mom and pop shops like these!

We are so glad that we tried Jose Jose while passing through Red Deer. Everything is made from scratch and the woman who runs it takes a lot of pride in the food that she makes. And almost everything on the menu is less than $15.

My family manages egg, peanut, and garlic allergies and, because everything is made from scratch, she was able to confirm that pretty much everything on the menu is safe for us. We had so many options and it was all delicious!

We will definitely be back on our next trip through Red Deer!
