The Little Red School House Daycare

I cannot say enough great things about the little red schoolhouse daycare.
Katie, Heather and the staff go above and beyond, to ensure each child is comfortable and feels right at home. I have two daughters that have attended little red for just over a year now. I truly appreciate all the staff here as they have made my daughters feel so loved and cared for while away from me.

I know how hard it can be to make a choice about where to place your children but I highly recommend this child care centre and I know they will be as loving and caring to your kids as they are to mine.

My children have attended The Little Red School House for 8 and 1 year respectfully. The staff are kind and engaging. They play with the children and teach them. They will always accommodate a child’s needs whatever they may be and are very interactive with parents, letting you know what kind of day your child has had and how they are progressing and meeting milestones. I have no complaints with the care and love this facility and their wonderful staff have extended to my children. Absolutely recommend.

It's been about a year and a half since our baby started with Little Red and I gave it the 5 star review. Since then, the care givers have provided such an excellent atmosphere for our baby. She has blossomed immensely through their work and play with her. They helped her get prepared for her first time in school and then how to manage throughout school, along with, of course, her actual teachers at school. The staff there are always attentive to our baby's needs, without any hesitation and when she's having a rough morning, or a rough afternoon, they have always been there to pick her up, give her a cuddle, or just sit with her to let her know that she's going to be okay. I definitely am glad that I requested my daughter to send her there last year as I couldn't offer anywhere near the types of learning, fun and companionship that they have all provided to date. After all, I'm just her grandma, am old and mainly just want to cuddle and love her to pieces, lol. Even the owner is a hands on person with the children at the day care. The whole staff cares and it shows! Thank you :)

Great daycare! My girls LOVED going everyday and loved the teachers! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, reliable daycare who gives each and every individual child the care that they need.

Really friendly daycare. Owners is there every SINGLE day to make sure all the safety and good operations. Best daycare in the town.

Great daycare, great staff. My son loved all his teachers but loved Debbie the best.

Had two boys at Little Red for several years and have very few complaints about the daycare. My children have progressed from the newborn classroom through to the before and after school program. As one of the largest daycares in town they have a long standing relationship with the school boards and offer bussing options to most schools.

The staff are the right balance of being caring and nurturing while at the same time stern enough to manage the large number of children that use the daycare.

Their hours are more then generous and are open from 6 am to 6 pm.

Little Red is the Mom help I don’t have and get. The staff is great with the kids and management response is quick and attentive. Great hours, love the different rooms based on age.

No daily communication with parents regarding daily activities, always heard adults yelling at the kids when I dropped my daughter off. Came to pick up my 2 year old daughter one day to the sound of my child screaming from the opposite side of the building and was told my child was screaming because she didn't like the room she was in - then the adults continued to say that she was crying because of me - because I was 5 minutes later then normal - took no responsibility for my child's reaction to this place - found her huddled in a ball on the floor in the corner screaming with 4 adults standing around her watching her scream and cry without showing any concern for her being upset. DO NOT EVER USE THIS DAYCARE -- Very unsettling, adults working in this childcare are not trustworthy - will be advising everyone I know to avoid using this childcare as they do not care about the parents or the individual child. PLEASE DO NOT USE! My daughter came home from her first day and kept saying "Don't touch my bum" and was upset when I did - I don't know what goes on there all day but I will never bring my child back.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! They do not operate a safe daycare, measures were put in place AFTER a 3 year old boy managed to get out and run home along a VERY BUSY street in Keswick.

*Staff did not contact the parent or police!
*Staff were not actively looking for the child when the parent returned to question staff as to how this could happen!
*Excuses and slaps on the wrist for staff.

SO Disturbing. This place needs to be shut down!

I will not be referring anyone to this centre.
