Renfrew / Ottawa West KOA Journey

The campsite is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The driving range was great. Beach are is clean and so are the facilities.

As a family that tent camps a lot throughout the summer, KOA is our go-to spot. The staff is great, always willing to answer questions or help out when needed. The location is nice with plenty of activities for the kids and adults alike. Just be sure to book early as the campsite fills up fast on long weekends. We have met lots of great people here over the years, and we see them all regularly. It's definitely worth trying out!

Very clean and quiet. The reception was super friendly and helpful even though we arrived 5 min before closing. She still took her time with me and didn't make me feel rushed. I would stay again in a heart beat.

This is one of the cleanest, well kept campgrounds we've been to. The staff is knowledgeable and nice. Lots to do, putt putt golf, driving range, nice beach for swimming, canoeing ect.

What an amazing campground! Angela and her staff are helpful beautiful people. We were fortunate enough to enjoy the Canada Day weekend here. They put on one first class fireworks display! Driving range,mini putt. Kids play area. Their own small lake. I can hardly wait to go back again.

It is a really good camp site. Only issue was that I wasn't given the site I really reserved. Even if I reserved about 9 months ago, it is like first come first serve. Went when it was Halloween weekend and Hunted Woods was Amazing!

Beautiful park. My kids loved the playground and beach. The staff were amazing, helpful and super friendly. The park was clean, and the food was great. We loved the fireworks!!! Best Canada Day weekend ever!!! We will be back for sure ♥

After a difficult 2 yrs , our Family experienced One of the Best Family Camping Canada 🇨🇦 Day Trips of our Lives. The Park is Beautiful ,Clean very well Maintained. Staff were Friendly. Great Group of Campers. There was a Canada Day Festival with Live Entertainment Free BBQ Hot Dogs & Hamburgers, Dunk Tank for the Kids . The Fireworks were spectacular.
There were cars and trucks decorated everywhere with 🇨🇦 and the campers formed a human link had a moment of silence sang O Canada signed eachothers flags made new friends and memories that will last a lifetime.
It did get a little loud one night with campers having too much fun filled with way more energy than I have at my age , pretty normal for any long weekend Campground.

Angela, who runs the KOA, is such a lovely person, all the park staff are very friendly and the grounds are kept very well. My hats off to the all for handling the insanity that was the Canada day long weekend. I highly recommend this campground to everybody. Thank you Angela for the amazing experience!!!

Everything is excellent. Staff are always smiling and helpful. Washrooms & showers are clean. Grounds are very well maintained. Tons of activities. Beach, playground with splash pad, basketball, mini putt, bounce pad. horseshoes, volleyball, driving range. We stay here several weekends each summer. Not ready to be seasonal campers, but if we do, this is the place we'd want to be.

My daughter and I took my grandaughter and a friend's child out there for a day, and I must say I was very very impressed with the immaculate kept grounds and the super clean bathroom s. We had an excellent day with the kids renting a paddle boat and swimming and we enjoyed a wonderful picnic at one of their tables. I highly recommend this campground, The cleanliness sold me on it.

Thank you soo much Angela for having us up to your KOA for such an amazing weekend, one my Family and I will never forget. Kids had a blast, they really enjoyed the jumping pillow, mini putt and that fantastic Fireworks display. We hope to see you again next year. 😎

The best campground I have attended. Will definitely be back again! The cabin experience was amazing and the driving range and mini putt were lots of fun! Pet friendly and very friendly staff. 100% accommodating! Thank you KOA! They were very accommodating with no complaints. Love it here!

My husband and I visited here for the first time Our son & family invited us to see what we were missing sitting at home. The rain didn't wash away our enthusiasm for nature 🌺🌻🦋 Nice clear lots. We love it 💕 There's little log cabins for rent also! So worth it! There is a very clean swimming area for the young one's. A dock at shore , a floating dock & canoes🚣🤣Clean Wash rooms/Showers, My grand kids love this beautiful & friendly camp ground where the pines sing lol🌲they couldn't wait to show their Shomis & Coco around👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This KOA has an arcade downstairs inside the front Office /Shop at the entrance if U dont like the rain☔ A huge area for outdoor activities like A blow up trampoline ,Gulf & gulf carts ect. 👌☺We'll be back but this time we'll be the ones camping 🏕 😉

Had the best Canada day in a long time! The staff and owners are amazing freedom supporters. They treated us extremely well and we never ran out of firewood! Food and fireworks were unbelievable. Would definitely return and support these wonderful people! Thanks KOA Renfrew

Renfrew KOA was our first stop on our road trip out to Newfoundland. We loved the layout of the campground and how clean everything was! We were there in off season and had a blast; I can only imagine how much fun this campground is in the middle of summer!

Stayed here one night before a rafting trip on the Ottawa River. The site was well maintained and the facilities looked to be in good shape.

Our camp site was sandy so it was nice and dry, but it's the perfect environment for poison ivy. We did see some at the bases of the trees. It caused us no problem but good to note if you're camping with animals or young children.

Love this place, if you are looking for a nice quiet place to spend some time with the family this is the place. Not a party spot which is really nice. Great little beach with canoe rentals etc. Very clean and well maintained and the staff is beyond fantastic! Highly recommend. Awesome little cabin rentals as well!

A very nice little campground. Staff very friendly and helpful. Asked about local attractions and hiking trails and the front desk jotted down somethings we should check out. The swimming was hole good and the onsite mini golf was fun. Would recommend this campground if you are in the area.
