Beautiful pools for swimming and waterfalls. Short walk from the road, but not the easiest terrain for seniors or people with severe mobility concerns.

A short walk off the highway. Swimmers get a choice of a quiet pool or a 9 meter jump within a few feet of each other. What a delightful swimming hole. . . as long as the dam flood gates are closed.

Breathtaking!! The flood gates open sending a glorious and thunderous show of power and beauty. It makes one feel the kind of respect that tends to leave a person quite speechless. You really must catch it when the dam opens her gates. Thrilling for sure.

Amazing, but if you do the big cliff jump the climb up is a bit tough, though guided by ropes. Beautiful spot!

Used to swim and cliff jump here as a teen and now I took my teens and they had a blast. A nice little treasure of a place.

We are so lucky to have such a magical spot to swim and dive. I'm very grateful for this river when the wells all run dry at the south end of powell river.
