Dr R Bains

Super knowledgeable, used to be Dr. C.P.Ng but Dr.R.Bains took over and she is great. The new receptionist however needs a bit of polishing on her customer service skills, will have you waiting at front desk without communicating to you why you are waiting there. It's always a good to know that your family Doctor cares about you and I saw her a few times and it seems like she genuinely cares for her patients too. I would recommend Dr.Bains to others too.

Since Dr. Ng retired, we have been without a family doctor. Since we're both seniors, we decided to get a family doctor much closer to us. Our new doctor wants my husband's medical records. The receptionist at Dr. Bain's office just called and told us there's a $50.00 charge (must be in cash) for transferring the records to our new physician. This really sounds sketchy to me. Update: Dr. Bains called me and although this charge is apparently common practice among physicians in the province, and my husband did sign a form at his new doctor's office stating he was aware that there could be a charge for transferring medical records, generously agreed to waive the charges in his case.

I finally found a doctor who can answer my questions and finds solutions to my problems instead of just brushing them off. Seriously happy with Dr. Bains. Thank you

The receptionist cut me off several times to say a response to something that wasn't relevant. If she hadn't kept cutting me off, perhaps she would understand what my concern was and why I needed to speak with a Dr.

Very very rude! Did not like that at all. If I could give a negative star I would. Look into finding a new receptionist please.
