Neawly decorated Middle Eastern restaurant in Richmond. The food (Vegi and non-vegi) is good and made with love; from Arabic shawarma made with thin flat bread (Saj) to grilled kebeh to die for.
Prompted service despite the the restaurant being packed with customers. Highly recommended.

Not your typical donair joint. This place is very clean with a nice area to sit and eat (like a restaurant). If you're eating in, the food is plated. Staff was friendly and helpful when I was trying to figure out my order. Food quality was excellent (in terms of quality of ingredients and care during construction).

I came back and brought a friend the week after. It's legit.

I ordered the Arabic Shawarma (#10) with extra mixed meat (this is the way to really enjoy it). They grill the meat just before they serve it, which I really like.
Honestly this place has the best shawarma I've ever had in Vancouver. The order also comes with garlic sauce (my fav), hummus, pickles, and some veggies. I drive from Vancouver just to come eat here sometimes. I'm happy every time I come. The dudes that serve you food are also very chill. It's a must-go halal hidden gem in Vancouver!!

The perfect browning on that chicken makes it extremely flavourful. They use a grill press to get that nice crust on the chicken without overcooking it. The shawarma wraps here remind me of ones I used to have in the Middle East. Fresh falafel, made to order. The lettuce in the salad could be fresher though. Bonus points for hygiene as they change gloves when needed. A solid choice for Uber Eats as they get my order right every time.

Very clean and nicely designed inside. Food was very very good. The sauces were house made and the meat was sliced thin and crispy then slightly dipped in the meat jus drippings for extra flavour and preventing from dried meat. Possibly the best house made hummus I’ve ever had, the olive oil was high quality. Staff was nice and service was fast. Pricing was very reasonable too. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for the real deal, The authentic shawarma that will make you feel like you are in Damascus or Amman, then try Al-Basha.
Both the beef and chicken shawarma were made to perfection. The garlic sauce on the chicken and the tahini sauce on the beef were excellent.
The tabuli salad was so good we finished it before finishing the shawarma.
This place was so good, 😋I tried this place for the first time for lunch and I came back for more for dinner same day.
I’d definitely come back whenever I am visiting Vancouver area.

I believe it’s the best Shawarma in town, yet they still offer more great Mediterranean dishes like; falafel, hummus, and tabbouleh. The portions are generous, and the ingredients are fresh and flavorful.

The staff are really very friendly and they’ll take the extra mile to satisfy you.
If you decide to dine-in, the atmosphere is quite cozy. The restaurant is decorated with warm colors and comfortable seating. Recommended!

Awesome shawarma! One of the best I’ve had. Tried their Arabic chicken shawarma with saj bread, tabouleh, green salad, taum garlic sauce, sumac, hummus (they customized). Would love to come back. Great customer service and they have a smile on

Trust me if you go once to this lovely restaurant you will be going again and again. The food is Oh So Delicious!! and the place is so clean. Im loving it!!

Delicious and authentic food within this complex. Friendly and welcoming service. I really enjoyed the meal here. I intended to go to another restaurant until my eyes spotted this bright restaurant with their beautiful flooring. We ordered a plate and a wrap and they did not disappoint. The chicken skewers were larger than I expected and very moist as you see in the photo.You would be surprised with the good quality of the chicken and rice dish for the fair price. The wrap had no onions (a win for me) for me to pick out. Now the garlic sauce…it’s always my favourite and I’m so glad they didn’t skimp out on it unlike other competitors. Plus the fries.. i should of ordered more as it was delicious! Overall, it tasted authentic and the spices weren’t overpowering at all. I am so glad my eyes spotted this restaurant tonight. I recommend to drop by if your feeling some shawarma and want some comfort-home cooked food. Thank you for the experience!

We had a shawarma platter and it was delicious. We enjoyed every bite. We will definitely visit again whenever we visit Vancouver.

The food is out of this world! We have been looking for good Shawarma for the past 3 years since we moved, this has simply topped any other Shawarma we ever had. Highly recommend it! We ordered the Arabic Shawarma (beef & chicken) in a family platter. Very generous portion.

I've been looking for authentic taste of shawarma for a long time in Canada. I could safely say this place has it and it might be the only one that actually has it. I live in Langley and I drive all the way to Richmond just to get their food. That's how good they are. The only downside is their enrichment. I wish they were closer or if they had another Branch in Coquitlam or Langley or Burnaby or something like that

The shawarma at Al-Basha is hands down the most authentic shawarma you can find in Vancouver. We had the family platter which was more than enough for four people. Highly recommended!

Overall nice experience! Their shawarma was really nice! Chicken was well cooked and delicious! Hummus was okaish! I wish they serve fresh bread with hummus in future!

This place is the spot to get your shawarma fix! Great atmosphere and some of the best shawarma I’ve had on the west coast!
