Wonderful experience taking our puppy Bilbo to Dr Gurvinder. It’s clear he absolutely loves animals and Bilbo was very comfortable with him during his exam. We got a super thorough explanation of what was going on and a clear plan for getting Bilbo better. I loved seeing his clinical reasoning process as he draws is out in front of you and he talked us through the relevant anatomy and physiology! It was helpful and informative. The staff also called a few days later to check on how he was doing. Bilbo has been very healthy since and we will be back for more care

Honestly the best vet I have ever taken my dog to. She cut herself pretty bad and they tended to her right away. I am forever grateful for the kind and amazing service Tyne head animal hospital provides. From the front desk staff to the Doctor Gills kind and gentle demeanour, I would not take my dog anywhere else. Keep up the amazing work in the community!!

I recently had an incredibly positive experience at Tynehead, and I am compelled to share my gratitude and satisfaction with the outstanding care provided by Dr. Gill and the entire staff. My cat, Flame, had developed a troublesome abscess that required surgical intervention. Dr. Gill's expertise and compassion truly stood out during our visit. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and patiently answered all of my questions, alleviating any concerns I had. My cat is completely healthy now :)

I had a memorable experience here , my dog ​​has been through many struggles in other hospitals . When I moved to this hospital, I was very happy that everyone here was really dedicated and took good care of my dog. It is worth mentioning, Dr. Gill he is a person who loves animals and takes care and always cares about my dog's health. At first I was a bit scared because I couldn't find the right hospital at this time and solve my situation of my dog , but when I came here this hospital changed my negative opinion, I am very happy. Currently my dog ​​is gradually recovering under the guidance of the doctor. I cannot recommend Dr. Gill and Tynehead Animal Clinic highly enough! From start to finish, our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. They assisted my dog, Jax, with his vaccinations, making the process smooth and stress-free.
Booking an appointment was incredibly easy and convenient, he went above and beyond to help us with Jax's international travel paperwork, taking time out of his busy schedule to ensure everything was in perfect order.

Dr. Gill has done an amazing job to my late fur friend Callie. It was unfortunate for my fur friend, but despite all that, we felt the most empathy and exceptional care from Dr. Gill and his team.

The care here is amazing! We had to take one of our furry family members in when she woke up favouring one of her hind legs. Dr. Gill was so caring that even after poking and prodding at her leg she still gave him kisses afterwards. You can tell everyone here truly cares for their patients and, we felt, treats them as if they were their own. Also, there is no feeling of being over-charged, or being "forced" to pay for something that may not be necessary. We are so happy that our friends recommended Tynehead, and now we also highly recommend bringing your pets here.

Dr. Gill and his team have been so incredibly compassionate and thorough with our dog during our 2 visits. We have been so impressed with Tynehead that we’ve officially chose them as our primary vet!

Our pup had to get her sutures out from a bite wound and not only did they take us in earlier than our appointment time, but they made our girl feel at ease, took not even 10 minutes removing them. They were so gentle and careful with her and did a great job with the removal. On top of that, they did not charge us, despite the fact that they were stitched up elsewhere!

Everyone here is so nice, and Dr. Gill also came over to us and took his time talking with us and sharing some knowledge on our specific breed, which shows how much he cares to learn more about our loving pets. We truly appreciate everything Tynehead has done for us so far. Thank you!

I bring both my cat and dog here even though I live out in Vancouver. I was in the area one day when my dog started choking. When we arrived at the clinic, the staff were brilliant and immediately set my mind at ease. Dr. Gill is exceptional in explaining his rationale for all treatment recommendations. During that initial visit, I was prepared to have imaging and other costly interventions, but Dr. Gill explained why those were unnecessary and how simple monitoring of behavior and poop appearance would be sufficient. He has earned my respect and my returned patronage.

Our experience with entire staff and Dr. Gurvinder S. Gill is extremely good, every visit is like going home, Dr. Gurvinder shows care, love & compassion for his little patients and owners who visit the clinic. Maggi & Jas is always professional and helpful answering all the questions. This is a 5 Star experience every time we visit with Opie and/or Lucy.

Resolved the issue during the first visit with my puppy, while others prescribed antibiotics a month and a half ago. A good, friendly, and knowledgeable veterinarian))

We were there August of 2023 for our pregnant toy poodle’s check up and x-ray. After she gave birth to 5 puppies, we came back to the clinic for the litter’s vaccinations. The vet and the staff were so friendly and we are very satisfied with the way they treated and took care of our toy poodle before and after she gave birth to 5 wonderful litters. Highly recommended!

After moving from Burnaby I was very skeptical about going to a new Vet for my dog Chester, well only my dog 🐶 on his walk he ate a dead bird I called around every other Vet were busy but when I called Tynehead they said bring him in, I took him and my dog is very feisty really feisty I thought I will have a hard time, but to my surprise they took him in gave him medicine, and he threw up the bird he ate without any fuss. I took him in few other times and always had exceptional care given to my 🐶 very helpful team Iam glad my dog felt at home 💙🐶💙

My little family is so thankful that we stumbled upon Tynehead Animal Hospital. Dr. Gill and his team really goes above and beyond to care for our Pomsky.

We luckily only had a few encounters so far but each time Dr. Gill has never failed to provide the best care and advice for our furry child. He answers all of our questions with much knowledge and detail. This clinic has never overcharged us for the little things. We got free phone consultations, Chlorhexidine wipes, etc. that would normally be charged to us from other vet clinics. And the phone consultations were not short either. This shows that Dr. Gill and the team deeply cares about our pet.

Tynehead Animal Hospital was supposed to be our secondary vet, but we have since reconsidered into making them our primary vet for the very obvious reason that they do not treat their clients to be just wallet feeders, but as friends and family they highly care about.

I could not recommend any other vet in the Fleetwood area other than Dr. Gill at Tynehead Animal Hospital. Dr. Gill and his team are hands down the best there is.

I had a complicated dental procedure done for my blind cat yesterday, and I watched as Dr. Gill extracted the 5 molar teeth from my cat. Dr. Gill was very skilled in doing the surgery. Thank you so much for taking care of my cat when he needed to be monitored! If you want to visit a vet I highly recommend Tynehead Animal Hospital, my mom and I drove all the way from the North Shore to Surrey and it has been worth the trips. The doctors know what they’re doing and are incredibly caring which has been difficult for me to find a vet who is like that. Even after my cat was discharged they still call to follow up on how he is doing which I deeply appreciate!! Overall a great experience with getting help from a vet.

I've visited numerous animal hospitals, but Tynehead Animal Clinic stands out as the superior choice for my Pomeranian, Cupcake. Their team's compassion and empathy towards my dog is remarkable. Dr. Gill's supportive and passionate approach in aiding Cupcake's health, coupled with his clear explanations, fosters a sense of comfort and trust. We were lucky to have found Dr Gurvinder Gill for our 13 year Old Labrador who has multiple age related problems. His ingenuity and decisive approach to address our immediate concerns in treating our beloved pet gave a new life to him. Really indebted to him and wish we would have met him earlier. God bless

My cat got urine blockage because of crystals, so I bring him to Tynehead vet ( this is my very first time coming here). Dr Gill is so professional and gentle to my cat. Everyone in the vet is also patient with me. The price is really reasonalble. Recommend everyone to bring their cat or dog to here
