In fact you could complete all of your shopping here for any holiday or birthday gift that you needed. It has good hours, 8:00 am-8:00 pm, moderate parking and super friendly staff. What are you waiting for? Take your out of town guests or plan a special meal and go buy your truffle risotto , ready to make for your guests. Lots of frozen meats, specialty ice creams, and fresh vegetables and fresh herbs..and jarred dried spices, all in one fun market. Oh, I forgot to mention soaps a hand and body creams and other beautiful skin products. I’m sure I missed many many products as it was my first visit there today. What a treat…I’ll be bringing my visitors here!

I just visited this enchanting grocery store and was captivated by its magical atmosphere. The beautiful decorations add a unique touch and their selection of specialty products is also impressive

This is honestly and truly the most magical spot I have stepped foot in to pick up some groceries. It feels as though you are transported to a wonderful land as you walk through each corner of the market. Photos don't do a justice of the magic to behold here. It's worth a stop, trust me.

What a unique store full of treats, meats, cheeses, trinkets, nuts, gift ideas - you name it! Definitely no other store like this in town. Worth a visit!

OMG 😲, if you have not checked this place out, please put it on your "to do list"! Friendly service, the atmosphere is relaxing ( pianist playing ), the products The Market Garden sells is so unique. Most things come in reusable glass jars. The many rooms to wander in looking at everything is just WOW!

Really cute store with a huge selection of artisanal goods. I was surprised at how large the store is, given the cozy set up of the different sections of the store. You can spend a lot of time here walking through the beautiful aisles and shelves looking for coffee, chocolate, pastas, deli items, etc. It's really worth spending some time looking for a special treat for yourself or a gift for someone else!

Unexpected! A veritable food emporium! The most impressive pasta array in Victoria, lovely chocolate bar, and fresh food to boot. Love it!

Most beautiful grocery store I have ever been to. This place is very well organized and has so many variety of products. Some I haven't seen anywhere else. Floor to ceiling shelves are neatly stacked with high quality olive oils, teas, chocolates, candies, flours etc.

What a hidden gem to get all kinds of exotic and foreign food stuffs !! This is my new goto for reall cool foods, sauces, cheeses, meets, spices, etc...

Grand Piano for customers to play, non-alcoholic store with a wide selection, and very unique architecture and furniture. I could spends hours here. Wait - I did spend an hour 😃

What a lovely store to wander in - some very attractive displays. See the pasta section! Many vegan items around the shelves and frozen, including local, BC and international brands. Fresh fruit and vegetables also. Prices, in general, are on the high side, but it’s a pleasant shopping experience and they sell quality products.

What a hidden gem this place is! I found so many items that I have never seen in any other stores in Victoria! You can spend hours in here just looking. They have a great selection of chocolates, pasta, herbs and spices, deli meats and cheese and also a nice selection of organic vegetables. Also a huge display case of candied fruits.

Unique, charming, enchanting, all of these descibe this this absolutely beautiful and surprisingly spacious store. If you like aesthetics in general and choice for a large range of products like spices and chocolate, this is the place to go! At least go for the experience because it really is one of a kind.

This store is phenomenal. It's a specialty store to get CHOCOLATE from various country's. Different types of pasta, pickles, vinegars, cakes, soaps, did I say chocolate . There is also a piano which if you can play you can use with their permission. The list goes on.
Very deceptive from the outside, it's much bigger inside.
The ceilings are like Michael Angelo a new huge chandeliers.
This is a must see for gifts for the "foodies" in your life.

This store is so amazing, love it. So unlike any other store in Victoria. Has a huge selection of items, so many things you will not find anywhere else, and it's just so much fun to look around. I've taken out of town guests here and they love it too, even when they are from much bigger cities. It really is a gem! They change things up often so you never know what will be there. Fun to wander and see what’s new. Great place to buy gifts for foodies, and wide selection of staple items too, like different types olive oils, pasta, sauces, jams, spices, etc.. Prices are decent too. Beautiful chandeliers. Love it!

If you are a foodie, love to cook, or need something special to gift or take to someone's house....come here! First time I came here I was absolutely blown away with thr selection of tinned seafood, gourmet pasta noodles and sauces, olives, produce, chocolates, locally made bread, cured meats... the list goes on! There is nothing in Victoria like Market Garden. I'm in love with this place.

OMG! If you haven't experienced The Market Garden, all I can say is You Must Go! This market offers exquisite products, and fascinating ever-changing decor. I shop here weekly for my household, and also shop here the 'perfect gifts' for clients and friends. You are sure to find items here that won't be found elsewhere in Victoria.

This place is amazing. They carry an exceptional variety of products. The store looks whimsical with its collection of dedicated rooms. There was even a pianist playing while we were there : a truly magical shopping experience, I can’t believe I only found out about this place this year.
