I wanted to kill sometime after donating blood before I went to another appointment and decided to get my hair cut. While in the chair I began feeling faint and loosing vision from the donation and asked Isabella for some water and she came back right away with water and a cold towel. She was so kind and didn’t make me feel embarrassed. Even though I was freaking out a little bit from almost passing out she stayed so calm. She also did a fantastic job with my hair and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Nicaiyla from this salon did a great job at giving me a short hairstyle tonight. She also gave me a scalp massage while shampooing my hair which made me feel relaxed. She is skilled in handling thin Asian 1A hair type like mine. She also gave me hair serum freebie. I'm not sure what it's for but I think it's a sample to make my hair glossy. 5/5 will come back again.

The front desk girls were super nice and honest about products and styling tools! Also had great deals compared to other salons i've been to!

I managed to get in with Rosalin when she had a cancellation. She is truly amazing. Consistently, an awesome cut. Great suggestions. Honest opinion. Truly an asset!

The only place I do facial and hair. Staff’s are friendly and knowledgeable about the product and services. They will explain every step before they do anything. I always do my facial with Amy and she is the best. You can purchase wide variety of hair products there. I strongly recommend this place for your hair and skin😀

My absolute favorite master stylist is Rosalin. I have been coming to Rosalin for over 15 years now. She is a perfectionist and always knows what to do or gives suggestions when it comes to color and cut! I appreciate her patience and expertise. I refuse to go to anyone but her. If you are looking for someone who knows what they are doing, Rosalin is your lady! She won't disappoint. She's always smiling and super positive. There has been times when my hair hasn't cooperated and she's worked after hours to correct it. Thank you so much Rosalin!!!

Master stylist Rosalin is the best. She is so kind and is so good at what she does. Rosalin works with a relaxing, gentle touch and your hair comes out perfect.

I live in Maple Ridge but make my way here because I've had nothing but positive experiences with the staff and the stylists.

I've often felt intimidated and overwhelmed at so many salons in the past, but my stylist at Zennkai has always made my experience a good one; answering any questions I have and giving the best advice on what would work best with my hair texture and facial structure.

I've gotten my roots and highlights done many times. Have gotten extensions. And of course the usual cut and style.

SO glad to have found a place I can regularly go to and trust that I won't be disappointed.

I've never had my hair done here but I have to say the ladies that work here are always super nice and knowledgeable about the products that they carry. If I ever need a product recommendation I do not hesitate to ask because I know that they will be kind and helpful.

I took my daughter in for her first hair cut and Sophie did such an amazing job !! Not just with the cut, but the overall experience. My daughter has refused a haircut for a year ! But Sophie made sure my daughter felt comfortable, and gave her the best salon experience!!

I can’t wait to get my hair coloured by her. She’s professional, kind, and sooo sweet!! Not to mention her work is amazing. I recommend her to everyone and anyone.

I absolutely LOVE coming to this Zennkai to see Natalie! I always look forward to my appointments with Natalie because she makes me leave feeling beautiful and confident. Beforehand, I would always be nervous getting a haircut because I had trust issues with hairstylists. However, I am incredibly happy that I found Natalie because I can literally tell her to do what she thinks is best and I have 100% trust in her. She listens, is patient, gentle (I've had some hairstylists tug my hair), is honest about what she thinks will work for you, and pays attention to details (even after fully blow drying and styling, she'll check to see if everything is even). She's the type of person that isn't working just to sell you on products, she really cares about how you feel and has incredible knowledge about her craft. I know some people can be hesitant about spending $$-$$$ on hair, and I was too in the beginning, but please consider the hard work that these people do and remember that you get what you pay for. For me, I treat my appointments as self-care spa days! :)

I don't typically write reviews but I just wanted to say thank you to the taller blonde girl who was working. I told her what I needed and she addressed it and suggested me Repair Me rinse by Kevin Murphy and I love it. Haven't used something that made my hair feel this good. Really appreciate the help!

Edit*: I came in on Boxing Day in the evening to purchase some shampoo and conditioner and the girl who helped me was very patient and kind. She helped me restore the missing points on my account as I shop here often but didn't seem to have any. Big thank you to her and all the staff. Cheers

I was so nervous to try somewhere new, but Sophie was amazing. She listened to me patiently and seemed to know exactly what I wanted. I came with problematic hair that was recovering from damage and recovering hair loss, she was so gentle with my hair and gave me the most natural highlights Ive ever had. Love my hair now! Thanks Sophie!

Best Stylist Ever by Far is Nicaiyla. She is the best for styles and bridal undoes and curls. She is god sent i’ve never had curls hold for so long for a wedding. I’d 10 stars if i could, thank you NICKY!!

I wanted to share an interaction I had with Amanda at your Guildford location. I came in with some hair concerns after getting a virtual product consultation and I was going to pick up some products.

Amanda and I got to talking about my hair and she recommended a few different products for me as she could see my hair. She took the time to educate me on these products and how/when to use hair masks that I purchased. She also allowed me to swap out my shampoo/conditioner that was unopened and unused for the new one she recommended even though it was purchased awhile ago, she wrote a note on my account as I didn’t have the product on me and lived closer to Coquitlam Center location, I was able to go in and exchange with no issues.

She went above and beyond when she really didn’t have to as she was the only one on the floor, I really appreciated her time and amazing customer service as it’s so hard to come by good people who truly care about their customers and their concerns.

I was kinda nervous about going to this salon. Lots of mixed reviews but after my visit today I am glad I went there. The staff is really nice and I loved my haircut. Sophie did an amazing job. Will definitely go back soon😋❤

Sophie did an excellent job on my brunette color and styling my hair! Her scalp massage was so relaxing and she’s so sweet and bubbly.

They are awesome. I was really worried about my hair coz scissors salon messed up my hair colour and then we came here and showed them the mess and they gave us a very good solution and that really worked . Satff here is very polite and friendly.
I am just a huge fan of them.❤
