Greenwood Country Inn

We've stayed here every year when we ski at Whistler. Margarit has always been welcoming, kind and generous with her hospitality. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. I feel right at home here.

We only stayed here one night but wished we could stay here longer. Margrit was very hospitable and even provided a toothbrush when I forgot mine. The hot tub is the highlight and I wished we could have enjoyed it during the day time with the mountains in the backdrop. Would definitely recommend this place and come back again!

Margrit is a wonderful host! Rooms are exceptionally clean and bright with beautiful views from all windows and decks.

Margrit made us feel super welcomed. Very charming house with awesome views! I loved the hot tub in my suite. Margrit personally made an awesome breakfast for us in the morning that really fuelled our day. Definitely recommend and I will be back again!

Margit was amazing from start to finish! We called for a last minute room and she was so accommodating, the stay was beautiful and so welcoming. We had a wonderful meal and the service was wonderful from start to finish! Thanks for the stay!

Wonderful place to stay when hiking in the area! The rooms are lovely, the view from the patio is stunning and the host is so kind and make sure you will have the best possible time. There a hot tub on the patio also, with a mountain view.
Possibility to have breakfast which is homemade and delicious!

We just finished a 2-night stay at this quaintly rustic B&B. Margit was an amazing host from start to finish: she answered phone calls promptly, gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat and things to do, and served up a wonderful homemade breakfast.
Our room was clean, spacious, functional, and had all the amenities one could need. I forgot lotion, a charging block, and my swimsuit but Margit graciously came through and provided, or I found them in our room. Our highlights include location (5-min drive to anything), the calm color scheme of our room, and the mountain views from every part of the house. We will definitely be back!

A fantastic B&B, one of the better one's we've stayed in! Margit is a great hostess, she cooks an absolutely fantastic breakfast and is very kind and caring.

The rooms were very clean, large, and cared for (the bathroom was stocked with all kinds of soaps and niceties).

We also had access to the hot tub on the deck, with a view of the show covered mountains, it couldn't have been more perfect!

Probably one of the best B&B's we've stayed in so far!

I would also recommend going to the Mile One restaurant on Wednesday, they have a $12/$14 special on their burgers and beer, which are phenomenal!

I had an amazing stay at the Greenwood Country Inn! They were so friendly and very attentive. And the room was very cozy, clean, and comfortable with a view of the surrounding mountains. And finally, the breakfast was scrumptious and fresh. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a great place to stay when visiting Pemberton and the surrounding area. The host, Margit, is wonderful and makes you feel very welcome. The best part is the view off the balcony for breakfast or drinks in the evening.

3 of us stayed at the Greenwood Country Inn for 9 days and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Pictures and service descriptions on the website do not come close to displaying how amazing this was. The Inn is incredibly clean and cozy; the staff is warm and helpful with local tips. Views from the property are great. Breakfast was out of this world. Each day we had a breakfast full of fresh local food (eggs, berries, vegetables, herbs, etc). The Inn is only about a 5 minute walk from town in a quiet location.

I can't wait to revisit the Greenwood Country Inn!! Will be returning for sure!! I can't recommend this highly enough!

We stayed at Greenwood for two nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. We used the suite for our friends who were a family of four adults with a 2.5 year old and we used one of the downstairs rooms as we were a couple with a 1.5 year old. The rooms and service were excellent and Margit went out of her way to be hospitable and accommodating to us. Though we opted to do our own breakfast, Margit left us some cake she had baked and we truly enjoyed her thoughtful and kind hospitality. The room decor made us feel spoilt and the bathrooms were stocked with all the essential toiletries which includes bath milk and bath salts. I felt truly spoilt and ended up taking hot baths on both nights we stayed. The rooms and suite were cleaned and restocked every day which made you feel so cared for and exuded warmth when you came in after your day’s travels. It was a pleasure to come back to a clean and orderly room, especially when you didn’t do the cleaning 😜. We did our cooking as a group in the suite in the well stocked kitchen. The rates were also quite good and we enjoyed a quality vacation without breaking the bank. The view from our room of the spectacular snow covered mountains was absolutely stunning!
I would recommend Greenwood to anyone looking for a relaxing, warm, budget friendly and comfortable vacation in Pemberton!

Driving up from Arizona, and half-way through a ten week trip we had planned for almost 2 years, our car broke down in Pemberton and we had to be towed to the auto shop on a late Wednesday afternoon. Since we could not find anywhere online that was available to stay in Pemberton (almost everyone was sold out), our tow truck driver referred us to the Greenwood Country Inn and said it was a great place to stay. After calling at the very last minute and explaining our situation, our hostess Margit arranged for accommodations in the extra room of the house since they were also currently sold out. When we arrived (via tow truck) we were tired, disheveled, and very depressed. Margit warmly welcomed us at the door with her huge smile, and from that point on everything started to feel a little better.

The "extra" room was very clean, cozy, and made us feel like we were back home. It also had an amazing view of the mountains! Being on the third floor, it suited us very well, as it allowed us the privacy to take care of our situation without disturbing the rest of the house. The two nights we stayed there were fantastic, and Margit's graciousness and hospitality could not have been more warm and friendly. The house itself is gorgeous and SO inviting! The food was terrific and so was the company. Our only regret was that due to our situation, we had a hard time allowing ourselves to enjoy our amazing surroundings because we were anxiously waiting for the word on our car (which turned out to be a fatal diagnosis unfortunately).

We have vowed to return to Greenwood Country Inn within the next year, and can not wait to see Margit again (and our new friend Otto :-).

There isn't a strong enough recommendation we can give to people to stay at Greenwood. For two people who were stranded 30 hours from home in another country, and just had the vacation of a lifetime taken from them, Margit's graciousness and hospitality somehow made it all seem ok. We now look at this place as one of our "home away from home" destinations, and we will most definitely be back!!

My wife and I love staying at the Greenwood Country Inn. It's the perfect spot for a weekend getaway either in winter or summer. It is very family friendly and Margit makes the most amazing breakfasts. Each room is unique and the views are amazing. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

We stayed last summer (August 3rd, 2019) at the Greenwood Country Inn. Margit was the best host ever! Her home is spotless and she provides amazing hospitality. The town of Pemberton is beautiful and is the gateway to so many great hikes. We just finished backpacking the Panorama Ridge Trail. At this point, any bed would have done the trick. Margit's bed and breakfast was a lovely surprise. We felt at home. She provided the most delicious breakfast! We could have stayed for weeks! Unfortunately, we were on our way to hike Joffre Lakes and then head toward Washington State for more hiking. Margit, it was truely a pleasure meeting and getting to know you. If you ever end up in Atlanta visiting your pilot friend please let us return you the same hospitality you gave us! We would love to take you to church and breakfast.

The owner is the perfect host in this tranquil little B&B perched above the town. Views from the rooms over the valley are fantastic and the tasty breakfasts put together provide a great start to the day. Perfect for a more relaxed location than staying in Whistler and there are plenty of hikes and walks nearby as well.
