Well laid out store. Fairly small downtown location but has everything you would need or expect. Good quality food with a butcher shop/ meat department in the rear of the store. Everyone is ready and willing to help out or answer questions. Known charities are welcome to canvas outside the building.

Excellent service from cashiers. I had one older lady in front of me giving the cashiers a very hard time with verbal abuse, i assured them that they were doing an excellent job despite the previous customers. Customers need to show more respect for the staff who clearly work hard and provide excellent customer service. 5/5 stars keep up the excellent work :)

Very reasonable parking ticket prices. The employee Logan in produce was very helpful.

Since Laurel retired as owner and Mike took over , this Safeway has not gone through much - still very much alot the same

Super friendly staff! Great deli sandwiches at affordable prices! Lovely selection of quick to go fruit or cheese and meat platters. sandwiches and wraps individually wrapped to go are super tasty for budget prices!! quick service with actual human beings to service you!, I love that I come to this store for quick service, friendly smiles and they still do my bagging and keep people of all ages, cultures and abilities employed! This is my store to support! Don't let the homeless outside scare you away. There is a Starbucks inside to help you cool down for a nice treat while your shopping!

I usually buy a meal or snack from Safeway, I just wanted to thank everyone who works at a ready meal! They always talk to the customers with smile and respect!

I have two grocery stores I shop at in Kelowna and this is my main go to. It feels like shopping at a place that gets me. Lol
From single serves to family affairs they have what I need.

**Late review.. last September ordered a cake from there with basic yellow icing and dripping so I could do the topper, the gal working was so great and helpful and the cake was perfect!

Always friendly staff and security. Busy but the lines go quickly. Prices are always affordable. Gluten free and vegan available too!

I go to the flower section every so often and Zoey is always working. She has been incredibly helpful every time I go in and makes sure I don't have any dying flowers, and wraps everything so great. Extremely friendly. See you next time and thank you for making the extra effort always :)

Had all my gluten free items and some good sales.

Great deli. In house coffee bar. And a clean grocery store with good parking.

Store is quite busy and a bit disorganized but the staff are top notch.

Shout out to the polite guys in the meat department who dropped everything to prepare some potato crusted cod for me, and cashier Annette who’s simply just a delight.

It’s the long term Safeway staff who make this location a customer favourite here in Kelowna.
