Great service, great drinks and good food. Came here on a busy wednesday evening with a group of 11 and we were quickly served. Answered all of our questions without hesitation and got our orders spotless.

They have a 4 to 7 special on drinks in which I kindly took advantage of.

I live really far but I'd be inclined to go back again.

Came twice in a week, so yes…it’s good.

Comfort food capital of the South Shore.

The spicy chicken had some kick! My wife loved the ribs!

Last time, had the sampler of Nachos, wings and Calamari.

The DJ actually did fantastic mixes. Quite the hopping place, even on a Wednesday.

This is an amazing restaurant and has a stunning wooden drinking cabin atmosphere. From bringing your huge group of friends to dining out with a loved one, there’s something for you. The terrace is 💯💯💯. The resto is massive which is great. Ordered le burger bison break and I was blown away. The drinks were 🔥🔥🔥.

A very nice restaurant with a patio where you can go out to eat and enjoy the sun. The waiters were really nice and attentive and they were able to recommend different types of beer according to our preferences. There is a very large variety of beer available here! The food was good as well. The ribs and the chicken burger are my personal favorites. The Balthazar Burger was on the drier side. I will definitely come back again!

The Paloma was delicious, so was the tartare duo as well. Great ambiance, good service, but the server act like he was my friend… it was awkward.

Amazing service and the waitress was so nice, when I basically told her I have no idea what I want for drink, but she can surprise me with something fruity and with sparkles

Designated drivers get free non alcoholic drinks, which is very nice, food is good and prices are reasonable as well. Overall, great experience.

It was a beautiful spring day, and we took time out from shopping. Found this place, located on the second floor, with a patio. Our server was excellent and very attentive. Wide selection of draft beer from Quebec microbreweries. The cocktail selection is immense. The food was appetising and delicious. We will go back.

We enjoy the craft beers and live music. Huge menu selection. Great ambiance.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere very decent. The chicken nachos are excellent and I enjoyed a Spicy chicken burger as my main dish. Sit outside on the terrace if you can and weather permitting.

Nice place to have a drink and relax. Very reasonable prices

Everything was perfect except for the service.

Our main waiter was not at all friendly. He made us feel like everytime we asked him we were disturbing him and he didn't refill our water all night. The other waiters that came to pick up our plates were a lot better.

That said, the food was amazing. The starter "magic mushroom" is amazing and the drinks are pretty good too.

I was there on Sunday June 19, 2022. Had a reservation at 6.

Spent the new year Eve with friends. It was really really good. There was live music and food was delicious.

This place is great, the music is always good and the food is very good (try the fish and chips) great selections of drinks too. If you are ready to spend I highly recommend

The food isn't fine dining nor is it close, but it's decent for the price. Sometimes, it surprises and wows you, sometimes it's a let down. Overall, after a few visits, it's worth the risk if you're looking for more than just dinner.

Let's be real. Balthazar shines for it's beer selection. It's what draws us in and what keeps us coming back. The list of local beers on tap is great and the fact that they have so many other drinks for non beer drinkers is even better. All the while, they keep the prices relative, which is huge! Nobody wants to pay $10 for a beer and have to pay $20 for their partner to have a margarita.

So overall. I have to say it's a job well done for food and prices. They know their demographic and are killing it.

After a handful of visits though, the thing that prompted me to write this review, is the service.

We've had bad service here before. So like anywhere, it can happen. Generally though, it's been up to par or if you're at the bar, better than most. However tonight was something else and deserving of mention.

We showed up and sat at the bar at around 6pm on a Saturday. Service was about what you'd expect to start, but within an hour, both my wife and I were pretty surprised by the bar tender's attention to detail.

He wasn't intrusive or overbearing at all, but also not dismissive or ignorant. He always made eye contact so that if we did need something, all it took was a glance at our glass and he was there.

With such a large and busy bar, both front and back, this is something you know was learned over time and we really appreciate as former service industry personnel. So job well done to Mathieu! Hope that's the correct spelling 🤞

I know there were two working tonight and both were on top of things. So I hate to single anyone out, but he was the one who served us all night and deserves mention. So if management is reading this, he was the taller of the two and was wearing the white shirt.

So now that the book is over, I guess I should say. We'll be back. Probably in the next few weeks. Tonight was the best yet!

Vincent aka Jason Mraz was our server. So kind and hard-working. I ordered the wrong beer and he brought me samples of 2 other beers to help make sure I ordered the right one, without giving me any attitude, even though he was busy (Saturday evening). The food is consistently good here. I love the salad, "La Chèvre."

Great beer selection. The salmon dish was excellent and well presented . The creme caramel was delicious. Excellent service
