We were treated with very kind and generous hospitality at Fronterra Farm. We made this our first stop on a trip to the east coast, and my husband and I reflected that, of all the places we stayed over the next 2 weeks, we had one of the best sleeps here! It was the perfect combination of comfort (super comfy king-sized bed, with beautiful quality linens) and rustic outdoors (a campfire on our site, sitting on the dock to watch the sunset, sleeping in almost open-air, hearing sounds of nature...) Each tent and site is decorated so creatively--it feels magical! The location is ideal, being only a few minutes from a beautiful sandy beach (North Beach), and lots of tourist shops, antique shops, restaurants and vineyards, etc. Thank you Fronterra! We look forward to returning :)

There is no words to describe our experience here. The hosts made everything simple, easy and comforting in terms of checking in/out, setting us up on our site and all our extra activities. Our experience here was very VERY memorable and will be back as regulars for the staff, hosts and property itself. I am honestly speechless and can't think of the most positive words/statements to describe our time here. It was nothing but perfection. They made us feel safe, comfortable and we didn't want to leave! The set up on camps is mesmerizing, picking flowers and bringing them back to the site was a special treat and the views/water was exceptional. We can't wait to come back next year and the next! Thank you so much Fronterra Farms for making our 4 year anniversary a memorable time for us and future times :)

Will be coming back to be here, for here.Thank you again for an unforgettable time.

We had a great trip here! Pros: friendly host, nice tent, comfy bed, warm outdoor shower, close to North Beach. You just need to remember that you are still camping so you still need warm clothes, bug spray, etc. and to be ok with outhouse style toilets. Overall a great experience and I would recommend, especially for those that want a camping experience without lugging and packing all the gear.

Beautifully furnished with all all your conveniences, with comfortable bed and bedding. Clean and private. The outdoor shower is divine! Quiet and peaceful. Easy access to all things in PEC to explore. Comfortable walk to North Beach for a refreshing swim. A wonderful setting to relax, and rest! This was my 2nd stay here, and looking forward to returning again!

This was our third visit to Fronterra, we love the peace and quiet, great location, friendly staff, and all the great amenities at this camp, including the outdoor kitchens with running water stocked with cutlery, dishes, cooking pot and cast iron pan, outdoor showers with hot water and ecological toilet at each tent site. There are beautiful large tents furnished with king sized beds. Each tent has a historical theme which makes it fun to try out a different one each time and the sites are spread out and have privacy. Bring your own food supplies to enjoy cooking in your own camp kitchen but if you don’t have everything there are stores within a short drive. We bring our own camp chairs and bug spray to sit outside at the camp fire. The staff have tips to keep your supplies and site safe from raccoons, with a lockable cooler box with cooler and secured garbage, recycling and compost bins. You can reach out to the friendly staff if you need more ice or wood and they deliver right to your site. The price is worth it to us, as we don’t want the hassle of buying and bringing all the expensive camping gear we would need, and can focus on just bringing what we want and having a comfortable camping experience.

Management and Ranger are very accommodating on my visit. Spacious and clean facility. Love the sound of the nature around us. Wish that we could see more of the water in front of the camp. Great experience over all. Would love to go back in the Falls for more Camping with The Most Comfortable King Bed!

This was our second time glamping. My partner and I set up a plan to explore as many glamping sites in Ontario. After staying at this site for the first time, we immediately booked a second visit for the following weekend. The tents are more comfortable than any hotel room, the kitchen is super charming, the hot shower in nature is what you didn't know you needed (last time I did this was Dogon Country, Mali) the location is perfect (quick paddle to North Beach, quick drive to Strange Brew, yummy cheeses and pastries in Wellington), the flower cutting is unique and the owners are warm and hospitable. 10 out of 10...or as Google would have it 5 stars.

The location is tranquil and beautiful. We stayed in the no 1 suite which has a great view. We rented a canoe and was able to enjoy the lake and paddle to see the North Beach. Service was impeccable. Loved our 2 nights stay in Jun.

Amazing experience! Super nice and friendly staff, beautiful property. The tents are very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. I hadn't slept that well in a long time. Highly recommended.

I had such a great time here! I stayed in the “Echo Bay” tent. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the location was perfect (about 2 km walk to North Beach or you can rent a canoe to cross the bay from the common dock to get there). Had plenty of dishes available and super friendly staff. The outdoor bathroom comes equipped with a heated shower and the toilet comes with sawdust and is designed to separate your #1 and #2 so — long story short — it doesn’t fester/stink. There’s also a garbage there for feminine products.

There are two wooden boxes on the deck: one houses a cooler (requires ice that you can order from the camp or bring yourself), and one houses the garbage/recycling/compost.

There’s running water but it’s not potable, so best to bring a jug or two for cooking/drinking, brushing your teeth.

My fire pit wasn’t very accessible (I’m sure they’ll fix that as I know they’re always working to improve the farm), but my friend’s campfire (next door at Speak Easy) was accessible, so we used his each night. My gas stove was easy to light and use. A coffee perk was included among the dishes, so bring some grounds :)

Only thing that reeeeally went wrong was the can opener: mine (and my friend’s) was rusted and didn’t work. (We managed to still get our canned goods open, but we had to be creative.) Again: the farm is full of friendly and helpful staff, so I’m sure they could have brought us a working can opener if we really needed it :)

Anyway…all that to say that I had a great time at Fronterra and the staff are awesome and I’d definitely go back!

Everything was spectacular. Jens was a very knowledgeable local guide, the instructions were crystal clear for arrival. My only advice would be to bring lots of deep woods bugspray! We had forgotten ours, however Jens and his partner were quick to offer us a bottle. I would most definitely check out the dock for a sunset. The accommodations were absolutely beautiful. I'm typically a backcountry guy but the king size bed and space around the site was plenty. Overall, I had a great experience.

Terrific cross between rustic and classic vibes. The bed was beyond comfortable! Morning walks to the produce shed where we selected our farm fresh eggs for breakfast, followed by a relaxing warm outdoor shower and stroll to the lake. Lakeside tents are completely private. Open fire grilling at the end of the day in the forest, surrounded by beautiful cedars and fireflies - how magical!

Best Nights ever. Being so connected with nature is really fascinating, and relaxing. Jens ans Inge are really great hosts, with a true philosophy of what it means to be at the edge of Nature!

Fun experience.. Jyoti, the host was cordial and very prompt to help out.. he was enthusiastic and made our stay very smooth and relaxing.. only critique is they should provide tongs for the cooking station.. hard to cook with only forks and spoons.. otherwise we would be happy to come again

Wonderful experience, the flower display is a wonderful addition. The camps are beautifully designed, the shower is warm, and outdoor kitchen covered. You can use the fire pit or provided propane for cooking. There is also a Conor for rent that I highly recommend, it's a beautiful trip across to the provincial park, the sand was so powdery, the dunes fun, and yoga class was so memorable.

We had the absolute best time during our stay at Fronterra. Somehow it was simultaneously all style and all substance, there was no sacrificing for either. It's the perfect way to have a luxe experience while fully immersed in the outdoors. We rented bikes from Jens and biked over to North Beach Park (an easy 7 minute ride). We got eggs straight from their chicken coup. The kitchen was extremely well appointed, providing everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and the tent felt safe and cozy. Jens also gave excellent recommendations of what to do and where to go in PEC. I would recommend this trip to my nearest and dearest!

What a Find! This place was amazing and I could not be more happy! If you are like me and like a rugged rustic glamping vacation, this is the place! My partner and I had a great spot and it was clean and comfy and the bed was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Even at a hotel I have not had a more comfortable bed. The site was well equipped and even the shower had its own hot water heater and it worked perfectly! Showering and then looking up at the stars was a first for me and I loved it! We are already deciding what week we are going to do next year!!

Stay here for a really spectacular glamping experience. The infrastructure behind these camping sites is incredible (king size beds, hot running water for showers, stove, kitchen table) and is clearly a passion project for the family run business. My husband and I came for our anniversary to bike around the county and we were not disappointed. Dress for camping though and not hotels as it can still get chilly and damp depending on the weather.

We loved our stay at Fronterrra! The sites provide all the enjoyment of outdoor living with none of the hassle. The amenities are luxurious, including your own outdoor shower under the stars, super comfortable king sized bed, a short drive (or paddle!) to the beach, and much more. The hosts are incredibly kind, hardworking, and clearly care a lot about their guests. We’ll definitely be back!

This is glamping at its best...raw nature and "in it" to the standards of backcountry camping...and at the same time, serious luxury/comfort. Hosts have thought of everything; a seamless experience and I doubt many will come just once.
