Mountain Top Cottages & Campground

We love visiting Mountain Top Cottages. We have rented cottages twice and have not been disappointed. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The cottages are large and well fitted out, if a bit dated. Friends stay in the campsites and really enjoy them, under good tree cover. They say that the public washrooms are the best they have used at any campground.
We will go back again.

Absolutely loved this campground. It is quaint, clean, great showers, lovely pond views and the owners are a delight! They even had a free DVD library that we took advantage of. Close to Annapolis Royal and Digby for fun day jaunts.

The location is beautiful, the pool is fun, the walks are relaxing, the memories are cherished.
The owners/staff are so friendly, welcoming and accommodating.
Our families have gone for 8yrs now and we have never been disappointed. We've made so many memories there and look forward to making many more.

We were at the camp ground. Site was good size and had a nice view of the lake. We were able to enjoy the pool and paddle boats. Kids loved searching for the critters around the campground and feeding the ducks. Bathrooms were extremely clean.

We stayed three nights in late September. Beautiful area and very well maintained campground. RV sites are large and fairly private. Owner very friendly. We will be back next year!

Mountain top was amazing, I've been camping with my kids where we've had a miserable time because they got bored so quick but they loved it here and can't wait to go back, we will definitely be back, the place is clean and inviting, stocked with everything you need kitchen wise which I didn't realize until we got there so that was nice! We will be back next summer!

This experience was the best one yet! My daughter and I had lots of fun. Great spot, service, and very relaxing. All in a great community. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

This place is great..we started staying in the cottages around 10 years ago and although a bit dated, they are super clean and nestled in the woods and most are quite private. We now camp in the campground and it is by far one of the nicest private campgrounds in Nova Scotia. From the size of the sites to the spacing between sites. It almost reminds you of a provincial park, except with services. The grounds are very well kept and we all love the private lake. My son really enjoys feeding the ducks. The owners really take pride in this property and are great people. We will be continuing to camp here for years to come and recommend this place to everyone...You will not be disappointed!

Love it here so much we went back a few weeks later as the kids craved it. This year we will be going at least twice, staff was nice, close to stores and so much fun. My favorite was the individual fire pits each cottage has.

This is probably one of, if not the best campground we have used ever. It is a small campground but is well set up with a spot for cottages, seasonal campers and short term visitors. Big plus are the washroom facilities that are well placed, often they are too close to the seasonal spots. They are very clean, no openings in the stall doors and a beautiful separate washroom/shower unit for physically handicapped people. they even have a first aid kit in the bathrooms! The campground is situated on a nice lake which is great for some kayaking, paddle boarding etc. The store is also well stocked and staff is very friendly. And if you have small kids, I wish them good luck finding all the critters (not real), they are everywhere. All in all a place to come back to.

We stayed at the campground for 2 nights and loved it. The campsites are nicely wooded with tall trees surrounding each campsite and the sites were nicely spaced.
The kids especially loved the heated pool and exploring the campground for all the hidden critters. It kept them occupied for hours. There were really fun playgrounds for the kids at every corner of the campground as well.
To top it all off the staff were extreamly kind and helpful. They went out of their way to help us when we were having issues with our trailer.
We loved everything about this campground and will to be making this a yearly vacation.

Really enjoyed our stay!

Campground was very well maintained. The lots are large and nestled among mature forest trees. Comfort station was spotless. Pond was very pretty! Will be coming back next year.

We camped with a 32 foot fifth wheel. Party of 4 ( 2 adults, 2 children )

We loved our stay here! The cottages are adorable. We loved that they had a little kitchen and washroom, especially since we had our 3 yr old son with us. Loved waking up to the lake view and staff were very friendly. Only downside was no Wi-Fi at around the cottages. We would highly recommend!

Incredible place! So peaceful, we had a cottage on the water and it was gorgeous. Very clean, cozy cottage with pretty much everything you need right there!

Loved it really nice spot very nice people lots of wild life around only thing that wasn't the best was the sites are all rocks so it's really hard to peg a ten down but other then that it's a wonderful place highly recommend family and couples ☺

My husband and I stayed here on the last night of a long weekend road trip. Ad soon ad er arrived we wished we had spent our entire weekend here. Fully equipped and comfortable cabin with generous lot size. Private, peaceful, romantic. Can't wait to come back!

Big clean sites, great washroom and laundry facilities, excellent pool! We've gone 4 years in a row and it gets better every year!

Great campground!! Love the lots! Spacious and semi private! Not like most campgrounds where you are sitting on top of your neighbour. Very friendly staff.
