Awesome small town store, competes well on most things with the larger city stores- and GREAT personable service- highly recommended. Thanks for all the great advice redoing our deck, from stain selection, hardware and specialty cut beams for the pergola and even framing advice from the design department - best little shop in the VALLEY!!

We are building a house and the staff at the contractor desk have been wonderful every step of the way! We showed up late the other day and Bruce and Phil, were a tremendous help. Super impressed with the new design centre as well, thanks for everything Gordon and Ryan

They are all fabulous, they really do care about all your needs, they always go above and beyond. They will do everything in their power to get product to you at cheapest cost. That's 100 percent why they are the number one to everyone I know. John and owners are the best in Canada. I have been dealing with them for over 30 years and lived from Kamloops, through out BC and all the way to Midway by boarder, and I still get all deliveries from them. Truly honored to be part of their business.💞☺

I can't thank the lady working on paint desk enough for her help today (even with her beautifully manicured nails). I bought the wrong colour (too light for what I needed) and she was sooo helpful and I'm very happy with the outcome ❤ We've also bought the flooring for our house thanks to Cliffs help and it looks fabulous! Keep up the epic service!

We are able to source all of our daily use solutions locally right here. The staff and warehouse staff are friendly, accomodating, and seeking to please as a commercial supplier. I'm glad to have this service so close to home.

Had to grab some painting supplies for a reno we are doing for my daughter. Everybody in the store was super helpful, they even let us bring our doggo into the store and had treats for him. Everything was easy to find, and the gentleman in the paint department was really nice to my daughter, even let her push the button for the paint shaker, which seams to be the highlight of her day. Nice to support local and the pricing was as good or better then the big box stores.

If I didn't actually live in Armstrong, I'd still travel to go to this store. Shepherds is amazing, they always have everything I need and the staff are so great, always helpful. I needed to match up some wood stain on my house, which hadn't been done in years and they had a record of not only the exact colour but when it was last done; 15 years ago! How cool is that....

This is a great hardware store. The staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. We bought many of the tools we needed to build our yurt from here and were given some great advise. Gave us some awesome deals too. The tools department is amazing, lots of selection and great prices. The wood stove and fireplace area is really nice and welcoming. The home and garden centre is also beautifully set up with lots of ideas. We enjoy going to Armstrong just to stop in to Shepherd's.

We live in the lower mainland, but I had to get some names of local contractors to provide a referral to a client. The contractor desk went above and beyond providing quick and thorough answers. They were friendly, accommodating and it was very clear why Shepherd's Home Hardware is so highly rated!

Today I went in to shepards looking for what I'd need to mount my floating shelf. They quickly came to help me and we found nothing that they sold off hand. But the gentlemen sent me to nick the employee who had hand made my brackets and had sent me on my way with a smile on my face. Was great experience for not knowing a thing. I shop at SH often and would like to thank Evan for going out of his way to help me out with a fireplace problem. Because of him I will do a lot more business there. Always very helpful staff and of course with a very good price.

This is more then a hardware store. I walk into the store and all the staff make you feel appreciated. I would defiantly go out of my way to shop at this store. Friendly, informative and just great genuine people. make sure you visit the contractors desk and their garden center. You will not be disappointed.
