Bavaria Restaurant

We tried out this restaurant in lieu of Easter 🐣and we are glad we did! Delicious goulash soup, full turkey dinners plus perfectly cooked steak dinners. Friendly staff, very clean, lots of choices on the menu & reasonable prices.

This is officially our new favorite spot! We had such a good time! Seriously! We went for my fiance's birthday with our little baby and everyone just loved her and everyone was so accommodating as well. I even made friends with my server and did a shot with her at the end before we left. I seriously recommend this place 😍 we will 💯 be back before we move 🥰 thank-you for making our experience so wonderful 😊

First time in an Abbotsford restaurant , Bavaria was a great choice. Great vibes, great food and excellent helpful staff. They explained many menu items to us and suggested excellent options. Good food in addition to wide variety of drinks is what you need in dinners.

If you haven’t had the pleasure for having Ashley as your waitress you’re missing out. Not only is she the first person and waitress that actually cared about my dietary restrictions and allergies but she made me feel like I was important not ignored. In other words she’s the reason for my 5 star review and I’ll be back when she’s working. I absolutely love the happiness and light she brings.

My favourite restaurant in Abbotsford. The food and drinks are amazing! Liz is our server everytime we come in and she is always great, she always remembers us. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and she went above and beyond to make sure we left happy! She surprised us with a round of shots and a dessert. We come here every year for our anniversary. Absolutely love everything about this place ❤

First time diners at Bavaria Restaurant, and it won't be our last! Headed there for a pre-concert (Doobie Brothers 50th Anniversary Tour) birthday dinner compliments of dear foodie friends... Was pleasantly surprised with every aspect, from the cool urban country-chic decor (definitely not what I expected from the parking lot...very cool!), to the tenured & knowledgeable staff (our server was a 15+ years employee), to the fun-loving management/owner (it was Halloween week when we dined and they go all out!!)... The food was top notch! These folks know how to serve schnitzel! About 100 different ways actually! Large portions and quality was fresh and super tasty! Also a good wine and cocktail list!
I now understand why my (German) buddy makes the trek from WR for his weekly schnitzel dinner. We'll be joining him soon! A hidden gem!

Our server Liz is the best part of this restaurant! Food was good, prime rib better than the Keg and cheaper. Dinners still come with soup and bread at no extra charge but again from the busboys to the hostess, the service is better than anywhere. The warm toffee cake is a must.

Big fan of their veggie parmesan (eggplant parm)! We usually get takeout, but decided to dine in for our date night this past weekend. It's a beautiful restaurant, cozy and warm thanks to the fireplace. Servers were very knowledgeable and made sure our experience was everything we wanted. Do note, if you're a later diner (as we are), despite being open until 11, the kitchen closes at 9. However our server made sure we were aware of this and dessert is still available after then. Definitely recommend this spot if you're a fan of hearty Central European style food. Two thumbs and a full bowl of sauerkraut up! 😉👌

I loved my steak Wellington, my husband loves his steak and lobster..we went there for the 1st time for our 25th anniversary and loved it!! The beautiful waitress treated us GREAT..

On our last weekend in Abbotsford we decided to dine once more at the Bavaria, we love the atmosphere, the service is great and the food tasty and delicious. I tried the clam chowder and my husband had the lobster bisque as an appetizer, I would have to say it was one of the tastiest clam chowder, it was a special on the menu. For dinner I had the steak and lobster bake with fresh vegetables and my husband had the schnitzel paired with a beautiful red wine that we hadn’t had in a while The Edge. A beautiful evening had at the family run business nestled close to downtown. If you like great food and wonderful service you won’t be disappointed

This is our go to spot for dinner service is great and food is even better. When you get good service. This is not always the case
There is a senior waitress/server that gives preferential treatment for her regular customers and extreme basic to some?? She sat at the bar and talked to other customers for 5-10 minutes before deciding to get us our drinks? She didn’t even serve us our food got the kitchen staff to do it? Happened on more than 1 occasion that now when I make reservations I ask for a different area. I always leave a generous tip her lose we sat there and watched 2 ladies switch tables to avoid the waitress only to find she served that area too

Went for a friend's birthday dinner... first time there at what appears to be an institution of a place and the schnitzel did not disappoint. Holy cow. Also: sticky toffee pudding. Like, real sticky toffee pudding that tasted it was some Oma's recipe from old country that used really rich ingredients. Brava! Will definitely return.

Lovely spot for some excellent food with professional service. If you're looking for an experience that covers everything I would recommend stopping by. The food is a tad expensive but for the quality, it is quite the deal.

Fantastic pre-Christmas meal to get in the spirit 😛. Always consistent quality out of this place! Ate the Wellington twice so far from here, obviously enjoy it but I need to branch out to try the schnitzel. Baked pretzel is always super tasty to start your meal with 👌🏼

Absolutely fabulous Chataue Briand for 2.The filet was done perfectly and the table side flambe was a nice touch. Service was excellent and pricing was fair.

Deserts had a nice touch as well

Limited parking, we were lucky to arrive before the rush! At the time of writing this is a dinner-only place, so expect good portions! Well worth the price, the food was amazing and the staff were wonderful.

Tried out this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was, like, it was better than I expected. And the atmosphere was really nice, just comfortable and relaxed.

Everything was sooooo good. Greatest service and food was sooo good that we forgot to take photos before we started eating. Loaded baked potato that you can choose all your fixings. Seafood risotto, beef wellington (with the tiniest peice left) but was cooked well and didn't last long hahah, Escargot, fresh oysters, freshly baked pretzel, bacon wrapped scallops and baked brie cheese . Mmmmmm definitely recommend coming!

The parking is not so good since we had a hard time finding a parking spot. We waited for an hour since we didn’t have reservation. But it was worth the wait,It was nice that they let us sit on the booth section even we’re just two who dined in. The ambience, food and people were great.
