Very challenging trail. Make sure to wear good hiking boots!

We did only a tiny portion of the trail, from the church parking lot to the suspension bridge. (Roughly 2km each way) the full route is 20km each way.

The trail descends steeply and rapidly to the bottom of a gorge, then runs along the bottom of the gorge, with multiple opportunities to go off path and sit by the rushing River.

Amazing hidden-gem style trail in Beaupré. The entrance and exit to the trail is a bit steep, so it is not suitable for toddlers - but children should be fine. There is a river along the entire route, and surprisingly not many bugs/mosquitoes.

Near the middle there is a unique suspension bridge. It is sturdy but does wobble when multiple people are walking across. One of the best hikes in Quebec for sure!

What a lovely way to see the St Anne river up close! Like the other reviews say, it is extremely steep and rocky, with parts of the trail consisting entirely of exposed tree roots. But it is very well marked and you can’t really get lost because it just follows the river. Be warned that this is not a loop trail, so unless you have someone to pick you up at the other end you’ll have to double back at some point.

Very nice trail in the Fall. Not for beginners, need to be properly equipped for hiking.

A serious hike that requires a lot. We want to do it again!

I started the hike at the most eastern trail entrance, it started with 1 kilometre of steep downhill it was up or down for the next 3k. Many sections were technical and made up of big slippery rocks. Definitely advanced difficulty when raining or very wet, but worth it for the amazing views. The trail was very well marked, you can't get lost! The rocks might be a little dangerous for dogs, specially smaller ones...
Hands down I would do that hike again in a heart beat!

Nice place to hike. It's a long hike and the east side is not accessible due to a washed out bridge. I hiked partway and returned. Parking at north entry point is limited. Beautiful views along the river. Recommended!
