Great parking spot to drop your Kayak or Canoe and go for a nice ride on the Meech Lake. You can also come play with your dog in the water, throw the ball/frisbee and make them swim. Couple of boats and cottage but the lake is still pretty chill. You can also leave from here to walk up to the Tawadina Lookout for a long walk/bike ride in the nature. This place is really beautiful in Autumn when the leaves are full of colors. Here's couple of shot from this area.

Beautiful park. Great trails. Only did one trail. Would love to do more.

The trail was fun and Physically demanding. Most of the trail is all up hill, except for the last portion. So be prepared to hike. Definitely recommend going during the fall with all the amazing colours.

Lovely lake for kayaking...not too busy during the week so a good time to visit.

Relaxing. Be with nature.
The best place to go and get away from Ottawa.
It not far from Ottawa.
I feel so relax and so happy when I get home.
Walking 2hrs was amazing

Beautiful hiking/biking trails. Keep an eye out for Ziggy the raccoon. He/she seems pretty young but extremely friendly. Just don't get to comfortable around him/her as it is a wild animal after all!

Good access to boat launch with parking across the road. Can be full on weekends. Coming early has not been a problem. 12$ parking.

Fantastic place to walk towards the top of the hill (it's a steep trail though) and a wonderful lake (great for summer)

The lake part is like heaven I highly recommend doing kanneau there they have a parking lot just facing the kanneau launching zone
