Traversier Park - public dock

Snow covered, good place to snowshoe soon with a bit more snow.

Directions to the beach are incorrect. Follow Rue de L’ancre to get to the parking lot instead of turning left down the small driveway (chemin prud’home).

Not much to it, but a nice little relaxing spot. Quiet, can sit by the water. Boat dock for kayaks, and small boats

It's a long walk on a steep gravel path which makes the portage difficult. Not accessible with a vehicle makes it really hard to use this place as a put in or take out for kayaks or canoes. Too bad because it's a beautiful spot on the Gatineau River. There are some canoes on the beach but they are locked with a chain. No information on how to get access. Use at your own risk. Local residents will probably keep you from accessing this place as they private access and use.
