Municipality of Chelsea

Very unwelcoming town. My Ontario plates were targeted any time I parked. I watched as multiple police stop beside my car. I also speak enough French communicate but quickly became tired of the eye-rolling and bad attitude of the locals.
I will not be returning and will advise others to skip.

Extortionists! $800 ticket for an expired plate? Without the spa there would be no reason to visit this dump. Won't be visiting again.

This municipality is completely inept, incompetent, and the mayor thinks Chelsea is his little fiefdom.

Municipal management suffers from ignorance, incompetency or fraud. Best to amalgamate into Gatineau.

Got a $500 ticket at the Spa for expired licence plate. That’s the hospitality Ontarians can expect in Chelsea. I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere.
J’espère qu’un jour vous arrêterai cette pratique inhospitalière et déplorable pour les gens qui supportent vos commerces. Ça manque de vision, et à mon avis, c’est une honte pour votre municipalité et pour les responsables.

Je ne peux pas croire que la mairesse appuie les gens qui ne respecte pas la loi et qui fond de la provocation.
