Thai Coco

This was our first visit to this charming spot. The Thai food was exceptional. In particular, we loved the pineapple fried rice (chicken in there, too). We also really enjoyed the veggie spring rolls, and though it was very mild, we found the red curry tasty, too. Our only disappointment was there was no yellow curry. Our server was lovely and attentive without being too intrusive. The decor was delightfully retro (see pic of 70s phone). All in all, though it is tucked out of the way down Westwood Street, it is well worth a visit. The two of us ate for $50, including tip. It is hard to beat those prices. The restaurant closes daily at 8:30 so lots of time for a little later dinner hour(we like that)!

This is a great little Thai place in Coquitlam. I call it the hidden gem of Thai food. The service was great and the food was delicious! The price is very reasonable! I recommend this place for anyone looking to spend time with their special someone… I took my daughter and she absolutely loved the vegetarian green curry with tofu and rice! Good times and good memories!

Overall a very good option for Thai food. I ordered the green curry chicken and it was delicious. My kids really like their orders too. They were very accommodating to our requests as my wife has allergies to shellfish, so they made sure that there was no fish sauce or cross contamination during the preparation of her dish. The only thing I noticed is they focus a lot on chicken. Only chicken or vegetarian curries here!! however still great, plus very nicely decorated and attentive staff. Prices are on point too.

The best, most authentic Thai street food tasting food since Thailand! The service was wonderful, the presentation, speed, freshness and taste were fantastic! You can tell they put care into these dishes! We’ll absolutely be back!

Had Chicken Pad Thai, Cashew Chicken and a Lemongrass Lettuce Wrap (can’t remember the name).

Nice restaurant with very attentive server. I really enjoyed the drunken noodles and pad Thai - authentic flavours. Large vegetable chunks and good sized portions. Spice level adjusted upon request. Highly recommend.

We were craving Thai food, so we picked a restaurant that we’ve never been before. Even though it was for takeout, the service was great. I called and then went there to pick it up. Restaurant has a nice ambiance. The servers were very friendly. We asked for extra pineapple in the red curry.
Spring rolls were crispy. We enjoy the chicken red curry so much. Chicken pad Thai was delish! Would definitely go again for a dine in experience.

The food is absolutely amazing. So good. We ordered 4 dishes to taste a variety of dishes, we had the shrimp/basil fried rice. This was the best dish we had. It was so tastefully spiced and flavored, it tastes better than it looks and it looked good. We had the cashew chicken bowl, which was excellent. We had chicken red curry, again, excellent. We had the pad thai which is really good but compared to the other dishes almost seemed bland by comparison, in reality it was one of the best pad thais Ive had but the other dishes were far better. Service was fast and friendly, the place is packed busy for a tuesday afternoon and kind of small, they could use another, larger location IMO.

Our family came across this cute Thai restaurant in Coquitlam. This is a surprise to us because the deco is nice and clean. We had quite a number of dishes. We like their Pad Thai and Tom Kha soup, they are really authentic. We will be back again soon.

Quiet, hole-in-the-wall vibe. Food was served quickly and was very tasty. Ordered 1 appy and 2 dishes. For 2 people we ended up having leftovers so the portion sizes are very generous. Food was a bit more spicy than we're used to but still extremely tasty

I was fortunate enough to win a free sticky rice with ice cream dessert from an Instagram Giveaway contest. We went out to Thai Coco to claim my prize and decided to try their restaurant out for dinner while we were at it. We ordered:

The flavour of the Green Curry was absolutely delish! My husband loved the Sticky Thai Chicken Wings and Pineapple Fried Rice. This place is our new favourite for local Thai Food. Only wish it were a bit closer for us to get to!

The Coconut Iced Coffee tasted more of Coconut than Coffee. We really couldn't taste any coffee flavor in it. It was a very unique Iced Coffee and while we didn't taste any coffee it was still a very enjoyable beverage.

Sticky Rice with Mango ice cream was the main reason we came to this restaurant and it did not disappoint! I never would have imagined that one could get so much enjoyment from a dessert with rice in it, but we absolutely loved this dessert!

First time dining here, and was totally impressed by the food quality. Quite a few choices for vegetarians, love it! The service was very attentive. Clean and comfy decor; definitely will go back!

It's been a year since Thai Coco was recommended to me by a colleague and I bet I've ordered it 4 dozen times since. I'm a regular now, ordering at least once a week. TC has become one of my all time fav restaurants and one I highly recommend to friends & family. Whether it is the Drunken Chicken Noodle or Chicken Pad Thai, they use a lot of fresh, high quality ingredients. Food always arrives hot and tasty. I can tell they put a lot of love into their dishes which are seasoned perfectly and priced reasonably as well. Thank you to Jenny and Thai Coco fam for your generosity and consistently wonderful food. I am already looking forward to my next order!!

Absolutely delicious Thai food. It's officially now my favourite place to go. We got Pad Thai, green curry, and papaya salad. All extremely tasty and fresh and rich. The Thai coconut iced tea was so refreshing too!

Went for dinner with 2 friends and we were celebrating a birthday, shared 3 dishes. It is a family owned and very intimate dining experience as the place is tiny. The food was delicious and plenty for 3 of us. I would highly recommend red curry,pad Thai and beef broccoli. They surprised the birthday gal with delicious cheese cake!

Food was awesome! As a vegetarian, I haven’t found too many Thai places that skip the oyster sauce. Loved the green curry, the drunk noodles were alright - tasted better with the green curry mixed in.

A cute small restaurant. Clean and thoughtfully decorated. Chicken in dishes is soft, and nicely cooked. Pineapple rice is very tasty.

The most delicious Thai dishes in Coquitlam. Chicken & Basil with fried egg is my favorite so far. You can also ask for the little bowl of sauce as accompaniment. I usually stop for refills here while on the road for cycling. Friendly service, great food, I love it.

Finally...a good Thai place in the neighborhood! Food was delicious - chilies and spices were in the forefront and loved how the dishes were presented. Service was attentive and friendly. You can't ask for more.

We decided to try this place and I'm really glad we did. Friendly staff and good service, clean inside and the food was amazing!!. Best Thai food we ever had and we do eat out alot. I highly recommend this place.

We randomly popped in for lunch as we were running errands in the area and WOW we’ll be back for sure! The food was so flavorful and authentic. The ingredients are so fresh we were really blown away. We may have found our new favorite Thai place - highly recommend!
