JP was an absolute pleasure to work with from the initial phone conversation ensuring the bike was the right fit for me, right through to the final bike fit. JP clearly has a passion for triathlon and bike fitting and takes pride in making sure you the customer are well taken care of.

I am so happy I found this shop as it is truly a one stop shop for all my triathlon needs.

JP and Morgane are top notch and provide excellent service for the advanced triathlete (or cyclist). For professional bike fitting, advanced race advice and detailed reliable mechanical service, this is the place to go. The staff here have excellent technical knowledge and a wealth of experience, and are always willing to answer questions!

I heard of Brown’s through word of mouth in the triathlon community. I visited the store several times before deciding to do a bike fit with JP. Last year was my first year doing triathlon. I booked in for a bike fit and throughout the process JP and the staff at Browns have gone above and beyond in every sense… you get expertise and don’t get any sales pressure. I wish I had found Brown’s when I was just starting out. JP works with newbies all the way up to pros. I’ve also started using them for my city commuter bike needs and swim and run stuff too. Re the bike fit: I’m still slightly in disbelief at how amazing my bike at Muskoka 70.3 Ironman was, it was a dream come true… big thanks to Browns for their helping to make it happen.

Great sports shop in Bloor West Village! They have a wide assortment of sporting equipment, apparel... and I was finally able to find women's road cyxling shoes in my size!

The owner was amazing and super helpful. Despite the lockdown, he allowed me to try on (socially distanced of course, and abiding by the guidelines) a couple of pairs of shoes so I could find the right fit.

I worked with living legend bike fitter JP at Brown's to create my ultimate dream bike. A custom painted De Rosa Merak with SRAM Red AXS! JP worked with me from start to finish, beginning with a proper fitting to ensure the correct frame size was selected. Due to Covid and the global bike component shortage, it took about 3 months. But JP was truly professional and kept me calm during the entire adventure. Patience worked and now I have a pro-level super road bike! I highly recommend paying JP a visit for your next dream bike!

Great Service, Great Service, Great Service. I just can't say it enough time. I asked for a hard to find item, namely a Tektro Bleed Kit, and "JP" was able to source it for me in a few days. I like that so much, I bought my replacement Cyclocross bike there, a Norco Threshold C105. The Retul Fitting was accurately done, and my inaugural ride on the Norco was nothing short of Fantastic. No lower back pain, and the bike felt like it was custom made for me. Thank you JP and Browns Sports crew for looking after my cycling fix. Highly recommend this store.
I also noticed they have swimwear from Arena and running shoes from Asics, both amazing products.

Great bike repair service. Brown’s has an online appointment booking system that allows you to schedule your time. My experience was exactly on time and as scheduled, parts were preordered and Morgane’s work was excellent.

Priced spectacularly. Absolutely stellar service. I had a burly looking guy service me as a first time road bike user. He guided me through which frames, shoes and pedals will best suite me all the way to over head / unexpected costs and "good-to-knows". Highly recommended. I will be going back.

Called and the staff were on point with inventory I was looking for. Showed up the next day(today) and purchased a Park tool bike mechanic stand. Service was quick and to the point. Stocked well with bike parts as well. Great sale price - best in the city!

Bought a bike repair stand online and it was ready to be picked up same day. Everyone that I interacted with at the store was super friendly.

The negative reviews that I did read on here did make me hesitate in making a purchase. Mostly because the shop is about an hour's drive from my home and I didn't want to risk dealing with poor service. But the price for the stand was so good that I decided to take a chance and I am so glad I did.

The only thing that was a bit of an irritant for me are the store's 11-4 hours as it makes it very difficult to pick up orders. If they were open on Sundays or had longer hours, it would definitely be helpful for those living locally but I am sure their business has certain reasons why they can't offer more flexible hours.

Great shop! Bought an Argon 18 road bike (and accessories) in the Fall. Dealing with the staff (especially with JP) has been excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Just took it in for a tune-up and it was finished within the hour while I waited! Highly recommended for bikes, bike fittings, tune-ups and they also carry most other sporting goods!

JP always fixes any issues I might be having with my bike. He also always gives great help and advice with any questions I have about biking in general. Also, my experience in store was smooth and safe amidst COVID 19. Steve, the store owner, has done a great job ensuring a safe environment for customers and shop employees. On my last trip to Browns I had a list of items I had to purchase, I told him what I needed, he went and grabbed everything I needed without forgetting a single item. It was quick, smooth and I’ll be back again with anything else I need for biking!

Very positive experience. I ordered a Brooks Flyer for my 1935 CCM and not only was the price very competative, it was shipped in a timely manner. They even took the time to include a hand written note thanking me for my purchase. These "Mom & Pop" shops are what make a community alive and worth living in!

Ps. keep places like this alive, don't let Amazon take away our neighbourhoods from us.
