Went on a really informative school trip with Seneca, hoping to work there one day ☺

I use to fly with Air Transat all the time until I had a bad experience with the airline and when I send an email to their customer service department, I didn't receive a response because of that I didn't fly with them for about 10 years. I recently flew with Air Transat and was quite happy with the quality of service on my flight, the staff was well mannered and attentive. I would consider going on vacation via Transat Holidays again, their planes are much better then the sunwing planes that I have flown in the past.

My vacation was great no problem at the airport staff was very friendly my safari trip was awesome

Lot of room for improvement. They used to be a lot better.

We just went for our boarding pass. The lady was super rude!!! She got our passport, My wife's PR card was inside the passport. She opened the her passport and PR card fell into the trash can! She got angry with long face, turning to us saying why you put the card inside the passport! So she literally got angry instead if apologizing because of that! I told her that she must he careful with the document and should not open them on top of the trash can! So she was rude and impolite through out the interaction. F.. up company and certainly f.. up personnel! She clearly tried to make us angry in the beginning of our vacation. They should tame their employee, specifically those interacting with humans not their own species! We measured the cabin luggage and it was according to the ticket dimensions by milli meters! She forced us to check k it in! Why you allow customers to have cabin luggage and then force them to check them in?? We had to move lots of items we needed in flight to the backpack! Not organized and certainly not polite!

Air Transat fleeced me downgraded me to another carrier Smart Wings upon checking their track record. They have 6 incidents ranging from erroneous errors, including but not limited to smoke, engine failure, loss of cabin pressure, and near fatal collision. I haven't checked their flight records for their previous name before they declared bankruptcy and rebranded themselves into Smart Wings. Air Transat is so shady.

Extremely disappointed in this company's treatment of military personnel. I had pre-booked a flight for January 2016 with Transat Holidays, as part of a friend's wedding package. As a military member, I got called up for a 3-month contract of service to assist with the processing of Syrian refugees. I was now unable to now go on this vacation, but fortunately I had purchased travel insurance. Upon trying to get my money back, or at the very least transfer my ticket to another name, I was informed that military duty was not an acceptable reason for cancellation, according to their policy. I was disappointed, but kept my mouth shut about the whole ordeal, and ate the $1500 cost. The reason I am writing this review, is not to get my money back, as it is long gone, but to implore Air Transat to rewrite their travel insurance policy to be more inclusive to military members. My hope is that someone in the future will not encounter the same injustice.

We booked a vacation for our family of 3, our soon was turning 2 while away and they forgot to assign a seat for him, after 2 he cannot go on the lap anymore. They forced us out of DR 1 day earlier, they made us pay $500 extra for a seat for our son and don't want to reimburse us. In our travel package is stated we paid everything and it is round-trip all included for everyone.
Transat holidays recognized it was a glitch in their system never called me to apologize so this is going to court.
You should own your mistakes

Be careful when booking with this company. They convinced me to upgrade my room to a superior room in Cuba. Not only did I end up at a different hotel than the one I paid for, my room was the same as everyone else's When I returned from my vacation, I requested my money back for a superior room, lodged a complaint, and never received a response as promised by customer service. I never booked with them again.

Do not waste your time money and energy. Transat is a zero supportive company for agents. What they are eyeing is your commission and your existing customer base. Employees do not support the agents. When you have queries or difficulties you need to solve it your self as employees simply don't pick up your phone. It's waste of your time if you already have a good customer base and they don't help and support you do making a client base is not possible.

Booked a vacation for february 2023 online. Checked the paperwork and something is wrong, i have been trying 2 days to speak with someone and nobody answers me while on hold. Terrible customer service for booking.

This company is a scam. If you see a charge on your credit card report to the credit card company. They charged me $1470.64 for no reason

The seat I selected during early check in was swapped with a crammed one without any notice or reason! Horrible customer service!

It would be a negative experience, so I would prefer not to comment.

j'ai attendu 45mins en ligne pour me faire raccrocher la ligne au nez. Je décide par la suite d'écrire via le chat sur leur site internet. j'obtiens une réponse dans un délais normal. Une fois que la personne à repondu pour m'aider avec mon problème, je n'ai plus de nouvelle. J'essaie de relancer la conversation dans le chat mais aucun retour. Tout ca pour une sélection de siège.
