Maritime Inn Port Hawkesbury

Undoubtedly one of the best places to stay when visiting Port Hawkesbury. The hotel is located in a central location with close proximity to restaurants and other stores. The service is very good and the rooms are comfortable. They also offer free breakfast included with the stay. Will surely re-visit when in town.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with such a great restaurant attached. Food was great. Housekeeping was outstanding. Definitely will stay there in the future.

We were starting our Cabot Trail adventure here.
Amazing customer service. We had made some arrangements ahead of time, and during check-in those arrangements were attached to our reservation so the t/m was able to review them and assist us. So efficient and professional! Great bed and pillows and we had an awesome sleep.
Good location and there is a restaurant onsite and some nearby within walking distance.
Highly recommended.

Excellent stay and a good night's rest at the Maritime Inn. Front desk service from Ms "C" was exceptional. Wish we stayed a bit longer but this was our pit stop before we hit the Cabot trails. While the inn did not provide breakfast (which is clearly stated on their website), there are breakfast chains within walking distance. The Inn does provide very reasonable laundry services and has a restaurant on site that provide a pretty decent meal. The business room within the Inn came in handy for our last minute planning for the next day. Thank you for a very comfortable stay!

Great spot to stay in Port Hawkesbury. The rooms are well done, service is great, and I really enjoy the restaurant. Close to some nice trails for walking too.

Enjoyed our stay here during a road trip in August 2023.
Check in was fast and friendly, rooms were clean and fully equipped and breakfast was included.
Price was reasonable as well.
Definitely recommend.

I have written many reviews on hotels and motels. This is the first one that I feel good about writing. Maritime Inn was clean! I usually think to take pics when I’m grossed out by something or disappointed in price quality vs actual quality. I was neither those things here. The persons at the front desk were friendly and knowledgeable. The pool was clean. The beds and pillows were quite comfy (minus the three year old’s knees in my back). The internet and tv worked great. There is a restaurant attached that is pretty yummy for breakfast. We pains $209 (that’s with taxes) and it was worth it compared to some places we’ve stayed in the past.

A wonderful little hotel. Very comfortable beds. Passed through for one night and left early the next day so I can't say much about the amenities.

Very clean, easy to locate, friendly and accommodating staff (always smiling). The King size bed was very comfortable for the two of us.

I've stayed at the Maritime Inn 3 or 4 times in the past 5 years. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The staff is friendly and the room and bed is always comfortable... if you have a long drive to C.B. this is a good stop. If you are doing business in Port Hawkesbury, this is a great place. Still the best French Toast I've ever had and the bacon is thick slices... they don't skip on Quality Food!!

I never stayed in the room, but I'm sure they'd be exceptionally clean as the rest of the motel is, Miller's a very friendly opnesphere but yet very professional service, the food is excellent also so here's a few choices I'd recommend the fish and chips, steak, ribs , Thai nachos and their wings these are just a few of my favorite picks.

A rare find in an ocean of mediocre hotels in the area. The room was a good size, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We took advantage of a dip in the pool in the morning before we checked out. I would recommend this place to anyone who needed to ensure a good hotel stay and a good night's sleep. The Steak and Eggs breakfast at the restaurant was also top notch.

The fact that it’s a four star hotel doesn’t mean it won’t get a 5 star review from me! I’ve been staying here frequently and have always had a pleasant, friendly experience. Check in was quick and easy and I really enjoy Miller’s restaurant located in the same spot. The rooms are clean and generally well kept. Only ever had a few issues with TV remote but it was minor and promptly corrected.

I have been working in Cape Breton in the Port Hood area for 8 weeks now and stay here. Excellent staff, nice clean rooms very quiet stay. They have a pool and gym and a great restaurant. Food is excellent good size portions at a fair price..wings are great and the waitresses are fantastic. Highly recommend if your staying overnight in this area

Great location near stores and restaurants. Onsite restaurant Miller's is great. Free parking and dog friendly. Room was a good size and had a decent sized refrigerator with a freezer. Able to store groceries and drinks. Staff were friendly and gave us great recommendations to visit on Cape Breton Island.

Very clean, friendly staff, great proximity to restaurants/grocery store. There was a mini fridge in the room, however, the microwave is a community one. On-site laundry was also available.

Excellent hotel stay for a good price. The room was clean and spacious, the staff were very helpful. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant, which was a great meal, good value, and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Highly reccomend.

We stayed here for one night in July. The staff at the desk were very nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. WIFI was strong. We didn't use any other of the amenities on site.

Very cyclist friendly, the staff suggested I should take my bike in to my room which is perfect. Staff are taking full Covid precautions and I had no concerns while I stayed. Well maintained clean rooms with plenty of power sockets and a USB charger.
