Askew's Foods

This Askew is not as big as the one on 11th Avenue. However, this location still has a lot of unique products that you would not find at any common grocery store. I like buying their meats, vegetarian alternatives and sometimes their sauces and seasonings. Both of the stores have the some of the same items as others that are more expensive. The staff are as great a workers as the other location. I would definitely check out this Askew store.

This is the place for groceries! Local produce, dairy, in-house baking — it’s honestly, hands down, the most wonderful shopping experience you will find in Salmon Arm (or literally will leave you with higher expectations for wherever you call home!).

The staff are courteous, helpful and genuinely kind. The selection is wonderful with so many local items to choose from, and they don’t hike up the local food’s prices so that it is actually affordable to support the small farms and businesses around us.

Fruit and Veggies are fresh and there’s always something new and exciting being stocked. If you love organic, gluten free, or anything specialty, Askew’s also has a huge selection!

Shout out to downtown Askew’s for being one of the only grocery stores In town to have rice crispy’s for our Sunday Funday family baking.
And a big shout out to Connor who is still in training but seeing that I had my son in his baby carrier and opened up a till to get me out of there quick.

Great selection of food, including hard to find items like healthy oatmeal and good fruit! Prices vary between the stores so do your homework! Locally owned!! Always great helpful,friendly service

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The pricing is competitive on some items, lower on others and higher on some. We purchase about 90% of our groceries from Askews

Askew's is my lunch time destination, so easy to pop into the store and get a homemade sandwich from the deli or select a cheese from the vast variety. Well done Askew's, you are my favourite grocery store.

I really enjoy shopping at this little grocery store. You wouldn't think there is much variety upon seeing the store from the outside but there are many items available for purchase. ♡
