This restaurant is full of wonderful food, fantastic staff and such a joyful environment.
We have always had the most amazing servers, and the food is so unreal for such a hidden gem!! The dill pickle soup is amazing, and the 3 course striploin dinner is a favorite!

Nice little gem in the heart of Wetaskiwin. Great service, and food was prepared quickly amd with care. Rustic cowboy-chic, farmhouse kitschy kinda vibe. Everything was tasty and pretty filling. Dill Pickle soup was a nice surprise, with the Tomato, Sausage and Orzo soup of the day running a close second.

Was a bit disappointed I couldn't order beef ribs in a place proudly proclaiming to be a purveyor of Alberta beef, but the baby backs were tender and delicious in any case. Will try the Prime Rib next time.

Wait staff was engaged and friendly. Made me happy to see indigenous staff in a community that is gaining some reknown for growing intolerance to homeless population, most of whom come from neighbouring First Nation communities.

We had an excellent experience and our server was charming and quick with those fantastic little garlic twist buns and pop refills.

The dill pickle soup is soooo good. As are the rolls that come with it. Actually, everything that I’ve eaten here has been good. My friend and I shared the chicken amaretto stir fry today for lunch and it was very satisfying. And don’t leave without a huckleberry dessert!

I took my mom out for lunch and we agreed on this place, it was our first time. Casey was our server and he was amazing! He wasn’t all up in our business but also extremely helpful when he noticed we needed something, he knew the menu and had the appropriate recommendations. The Menu was a bit chaotic and hard to read but the food was delectable and came in a timely manner. I would eat here again :)

Best steak we've had! The meat was incredibly tender and juicy. The gravy was just perfect as well. The serving size was huge as well, definitely get your money's worth.

This restaurant is fantastic! I've eaten here quite a few times over the years and I've always enjoyed the delicious food. Their specials are usually my Go To. Service is always very friendly and quick no matter how busy they are.
I look forward to traveling to Wetaskiwin because I get to eat here.

Outstanding service. Our meals were perfectly cooked. Mine was the 24 hour roasted prime rib with roasted potatoes vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. Can't say enough about the caring for details. Thanks for being excellent

We have drove by the Huckleberry Cafés sign many many times. But decided to stop and give it a try today.
This Cafe is absolutely Incredible!!!
The decor is unique with a touch of oldtime comfort feel to it.
The menu has a good assortment of choices..and the food.. is AMAZING! Along with Craig who, is one of the most friendly, personable and totally pleasurable waiters I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Both my daughter and I will definitely be bring our spouses here in the near future.
Do yourself a favor, if you are ever passing through Wetaskiwin,

Cool restaurant! I just moved to Wetaskiwin and I heard alot of good things about this place, including the dill pickle soup is fantastic, and that it was. Had the blackjack burger with Cajun fries, which was absolutely delicious. All their meat is locally produced. I highly recommend this place and I will most definitely be back.

Huckleberry's is the definition of a cowboy themed restaurant. I personally think it should just be titled Huckleberry's because it is more a restaurant than a cafe. It is quite large, with dining, booths, as well as a bar. The decor and atmosphere is cozy and western. Little touches make the difference and this place is definitely unique. The food was also quite tasty. I appreciated how it tasted very homemade and fresh. We especially enjoyed the regular and the dill pickle poutine, yummy!!! My daughter also ordered the salmon and I was completely blown away. Usually, unless you're at the coast, the salmon is a sad, wilted display but here it was plump, juicy and tasted fresh (although I'm sure it was frozen). Very good! The service was also above average. I would definitely recommend.
EDIT: Reply from management says salmon is flown in fresh which would explain a lot! Thanks for the heads up.

We came in for dinner and were extremely satisfied with the service and food. Ordered a couple of the seasonal items and fried smoked pickels to start. There was no disappointment, and the menu prices are very reasonable.

The last time I was here was 2003, and it's still as great as was back then. We will be back - it's worth the hour drive from Edmonton.

We showed up at Hucks last night for supper. It was super busy as it was around 5:30. The young lady at the door greeted us and let us know there would be a little wait and we chose to wait it out. She was very calm and greeted everyone kindly despite being frazzled I’m sure. She was great! We were seated in only 15 minutes. A friendly gentleman came to serve us our complimentary biscuits and drinks. Our food came shortly after and it was delicious! My husband and I commented that the staff has such a great flow and work super well together to make things fall into place for each dining experience.
If we could give them 10 stars we would! Can’t wait to go back, thanks Huckleberry’s staff😊

Cute place, very traditional. Lots of local and farm to table food. I was told by a waitress that their famous dill pickle soup had flour in it, so I didn't try it. Turns out it is GF. I'll try it next time! 😊

Stopped at Huckleberry's for dinner on our way back to Edmonton from Drumheller based on Tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The food tasted great, portions were large and reasonably priced. Loved loved loved the homemade dinner buns - super light and has that French pastry crisp to them. Our server was friendly but slow and forgetful. We never got the sides to the potatoes or the refill for our water glasses. Worth a dinner visit if you end in Wetaskiwin!

What a fabulous dining experience. We took Don's daughter out for her BD. The Waitress was from South Africa and totally awesome, friendly and went out of her way to help Charmaine with gluten and lactose free choices. The steaks were tender and juicy. Dessert was this native presentation of rice pudding with almonds on real wood slabs.
