A beautiful 4 km (one way) well loved trail lined with brightly painted birdhouses made by children and chickadees flitting by or landing near. The trail follows a winding creek & is home to many winged ones & four legged wildlife.

Awesome easy hike just outside of town. Couple of steep places though. Lots of birds that will land in your hands to eat bird seed. Bring seed and camera! Gorgeous scenery. 4 km trail or just turn back sooner.

Such a cool place. These sweet little birds are accustomed to people here and will fly into your hand to get a snack. The squirrels also like to be fed. A nice area, my kids had no problem with the steep Hill and were patient enough to wait with their arm outstretched waiting for the birds.

Always a nice mini escape from the busyness of life. Bring some sunflower seeds (not flavoured), as that's what they really love.

Love it every time I go!

Be sure to try and go morning to noon. When the birds are most active! If you get good bird seed for chikadees then they may eat right out of your hand!!!!!
I've gone as a family trips ever since I was 3. You don't have to be big to enjoy the fun here.

This place is gorgeous. Thanksgiving weekend was perfect with all the yellow trees. The climb up the hill is a bit steep. If it's rainy I probably wouldn't risk it. Beautiful quick trail with so many birds and chipmunks. Highly recommend. Bring bird food to feed them!

This is a great path. It starts with a bit of a hill from the parking spots. (No parking on the road.) During the summer bring bug spray as the woods are overgrown and the paths are narrow. Bring some bird seed to feed the chickadees and squirrels. The birds will land on your fingers if you are still. In the winter the hill can get slippery as some people sled down the hill.
There are no bathrooms or playgrounds, this is just a trail in and back.

Take water and be respectful of the path. Don't break the bird houses or feeders, don't tear up the trees or carve out a new path.

Excellent place to walk and feed some birds.

Take extra leave in some of the feeders.

Very nice trail. Easy for kid. Lots of chickadee. They will eat traight from your hand as other reviewers mentioned. Bring organic bird seeds. They seem like to eat sun flower seeds more than other seeds. Just stand still and wait for a minute.

If you bring along bird frendly seed the birds will land and eat from your hand. This is a good winter sunny day 1-2 hour trip for kids, and families.

Neat area. Brought bird seed along and saw lots of birds but they were shy or well fed and wouldn't fly into my hand. Good little walk

Gorgeous trail. Unfortunately I didn’t get to walk all of it as there was a lot of ice due to weather conditions.

Wild, mostly ungroomed trail, (that's a good thing) but still a easy hike. Good for kids and dogs.
