Quick service. And they speak excellent French. Not sure about English but I imagine it is ok to.

Areas to improve: the online tool generates a report that is not as clear as it should be. I think one of the accountants realized this.

Strengths When I showed up to sign the documents, the Admin assistant did not try to fudge a response. She called one of the accountants and he addressed the issue with minimal fuss.

What I wish the online tool would do: provide two documents.

Document 1: tax report (around 50 pages)
Document 2: PDF for any signatures that are needed so you don’t have to search for anything.

Steve Young at Godin, Lacroix & Assoc. has been a lifesaver! I have used this firm for both personal and small business taxes and ongoing bookkeeping and financial services for almost 15 years. I have used Godin, Lacroix, Monette Inc. services for about 10 years. I drop by with no appointment when it is convenient for me and have always been seen by someone within 10 to 15 minutes. A few days later my income tax returns are ready and have always been perfect and much less expensive than other accounting firms. I love being able to access my returns and pay for the fee over the internet.

My son who lives in Ontario and owns a business transferred his taxes to Godin and not only saved $2000 the first year but had his taxes redone for the previous year and also received a substantial return. I have personally recommended Godin to at least 5 other people who now only have their returns done by them and are extremely satisfied.
