CIBC Branch with ATM

Thanks to Joseph for always looking after me. I’m not a resident and don’t do a lot of business with CIBC, but he treats me the same as his bigger clients. I always get a callback usually within an hour. Glad I found him!

This has been my branch since I moved to Canada. I love this location, it is very convenient to get there by Subway. The branch is always clean and no line up most of the time and the staff is friendly. I have been dealing with the same financial advisor and her assistant at this location for over 20 years. It is important for me to deal with same people as this helps build trust and keeps me coming back. Thank you guys all. I am a happy client!

CIBC - 1 TORONTO STREET. Despite short staffed & long queues staff did a great job taking care of all customers. Good bankers will always be that. Fantastic. (October 20, 2022).

For some strange reason there were many staff sitting in cubicles on their computers, who could have easily stepped out to help, front staff are slogging away!! No one did.

In a previous visit (June or July 2022), Interestingly, branch head (South Asian Origin) helpfully asked us to sit in one such empty cubicle (first one) to await our turn, (given long queues) but the cubicle owner on his return, promptly asked us to get out - much to the embarrassment of the office manager / supervisor!

We stepped out, experience remains.

So much for multi reporting matrix structure folks under one roof!

Irrespective of matrix, an office manager must be single point of authority for client service.

Otherwise there are always experiences like this to explain away….

A smallish branch with friendly service. They were particularly helpful when I converted 5 types of foreign currency into Canadian funds.

Very satisfied bank service in this Branch.. This morning, the Security gentleman help to distribute customer to different windows, help me save time from line up for the cash deal with front desks...This leads me to Jessica, who is a great advisor help me deal with bank stuff for my sister's condo closing event.... .... Very happy and luck have Jessica's professional help to figure out my sister's needs for me within half a hour....In some other place, may need to line up for this period time.....

Anyway, nice location, great service and friendly staffs!!! I will come for this branch for personal bank needs....

I have banked at this CIBC branch for many years. My interaction with the staff has always been positive. Tina and Loai look after me in Premier Service and what a team they are. Responsive and caring.. great team.

The branch manager Jonathan Alexander and his financial planner Tina & Loai takes wonderful care for us. Although there are long lineups, I use online banking now but always see this team for advice. Best team ever in town !

we have been doing business with CIBC over 10 years as mms motors we are always pleased to deal with Cibc, especially with JOHN being the branch manager, he is always out there trying to help when we are waiting in the line. their line up is a bit long but moves fast due to their well trained staff

My first experience with this bank was really good. Ms. Nooriya helped me with all of my questions concerning credit card and how to manage my bank account. It was absolutely professional and fast. Also the staff was extremely helpful and helped me with all my questions.

I had one of the smoothest bank account opening experiences here. Special mention to Jessica Situ she was extremely efficient and help answer all my queries patiently and politely. Within 20 mins she helped me set up my debit card / netbanking and everything! For all new comers to Canada I would recommend book and appointment first to ensure smoother operational flow.

I have been banking with CIBC for a long while now (about 15-20 years), all of which has been at the 1 Toronto branch under the care of amazing and attention of Tina (and Loai). I would give them more than 5 stars if I could as they truly deserve it. Over my early years with them, they steadily earned my loyalty and business through their exceptional customer service, excellent client platforms, and most competitive rates/offers. They (Tina) has always been there for me, and made banking (and other financial services like mortgages and investing) as easy, simple and worry free as possible. I previously banked with BMO, TD, and RBC and none of these can compare to my experience with CIBC. I have both personal and business accounts with them, on both the banking and investment side. CIBC (with a special thanks to Tina) is one of the few companies I am truly loyal too. Give them a try and you will be so glad you did!

My wife and I have been using Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce at 1 Toronto Street, Toronto branch since 1994, we used this branch for both business and personal banking, as you can see for the past 30 years we have moved to 6 different homes in GTA, but our banking with this branch always remains the same, the staff at this branch are always there for you, the service is amazing no waiting time, there is always someone to receive you at the door, friendly staff, friendly environment and friendly CIBC branch ( 1 Toronto Street ).

Have been banking at this branch for many years. Jonathan and the rest of the imperial staff are great, never received subpar service. I would recommend this branch to anyone.
