Parque Moinhos de Vento (Parcão)

A fantastic city park in the middle of Porto Alegre. Lots of playground equipment for children to use, plenty of park benches and open spaces to have a picnic or just enjoy people watching. A marked fitness path circles the park as well. As of August 2023 the central pond area is closed for reconditioning, but still ple ty to do and see here!

The most beautiful location in Porto Alegre. Loved it with my son of 11. Wonderful lake with fish, turtles. Nice birds of different colours are around.

Just an incredible, An absolute gem in the city. I felt so relax the moment I entered the park. This is the kinda place I can spend my entire weekend just browsing the people, animals and my books. I will definitely go back again if I have a chance to visit Brazil.

Very nice place for spending time with Friends and family.
You can enjoy exercising, relaxing, watching ducks, pigeons or for playing with your kids
Also you can go there for a picnic.
I really recommend to visit here. I have been there many times and I don't get tired of going there.

It's the best park in the city to spend some relaxing hours with friends, seat underneath the trees.

I’ve been here since 1984, and it only gets better with years. It’s a perfect place to sit and relax on a nice and beautiful day. As an improving suggestion, the bathrooms could improve. Sometimes they are not clean. But keeping that aside, you’ll love this park!

A must-visit park for any tourists. It has beautiful features and it is located in a beautiful area. If you like to see how locals utilise the area, go on a Sunday, when it's packed with people and sellers. If you want a peaceful place, go during the week. It's mostly empty on weekdays.

Very nice park to relax, walk, or sit and chat in a beautiful neighborhood of porto alegre. We were there just after dark and their were families, couples and felt very safe.

A good place to engage in the traditional gaucho weekend of chimarrao, tangerines, and winter sun.

If you want to stay in a calm place, come here. There are sport stuffs to do calistenia training and some areas with appropriate grass to a picnic day.

Good maintenance, clear signs, controlled animals. Much better than it used to be (back in early 2000’s)

Great place to spend a sunny sunday afternoon, drinking Chimarrão or eating Bergamota! You can also enjoy jogging or playing basketball/soccer on the available couts.

Great for running, taking the kids to have fun, or to catch some pokemon. It's full of trees and got some very pretty spots for pictures.
