Beautiful place to spend the day with nature. We saw a hummingbird and a toucan and had a wonderful time hanging in the hammocks and viewing the waterfalls.

So beautiful and a lot to see. Try to come earlier in the day because it becomes very busy in the afternoon.

It's a great park, full of amazing views and beautiful nature. You pay $18 for each person. You can get really close to the water. It's worth a visit.

One of the greatest places to visit in Rio Grande do Sul. It is close to Canela town. This is a park with a great waterfall which you can observe from above from the the view point. 130 m hight waterfall. Highly recommended!!!

Stunning view of the main Caracol waterfall. There's another viewing platform which you can pay extra to go up, but the regualr one (included in the entry fee) is already spectacular. There's also a nice trail alongside the river with impressive views of the smaller falls.

Beautiful waterfall, especially after rains- you can feel the ground shake from the force of the water when the flow rate is voluminous. Be careful upstream of the falls, not much in the way of safety railing and a misstep could prove disastrous.

The Majesty of this location makes one stop, think and ponder about how beautiful this earth of ours is..... I would have loved to have walked to the bottom of the cascade and to even stay the night near the water to emerse myself in this natural beauty.

I left part of my soul at this place so it could greet friends who visit and to be a beacon for me to return....

The view is amazing. Too bad the stairs to go down to the waterfall have been under repair so you can only see it from far away... The view from the bottom is even more incredible.

Caracol Falls, or Cascata do Caracol, is a 426-foot (130 meter) waterfall about 4.35 miles (7.00 km) from Canela, Brazil in Caracol State Park (Parque do Caracol).[1] It is formed by the Caracol River and cuts out of basalt cliffs in the Serra Geral mountain range, falling into the Vale da Lageana. The falls are situated between the pinheiral (pine forest) zone of the Brazilian Highlands and the southern coastal Atlantic Forest.[2] The base of the waterfall can be reached by a steep 927-step trail maintained by the Projeto Lobo-Guará.[1]
