Amazing, wonderful and perfect! These words fall short when describing our experience with Andes Salt Expeditions. We did the 2 day tour and it was the best experience we could have hoped for. Our guides Fernando, Cristian and Axel took care of everything and went out of their way to please our group. We highly recommend this Uyuni tour.

We went on two tours with this company and both were incredible!

We went on a day tour with Fernando and then on a 3 day 2 night tour with Blas. Both guides were wonderful, attentive, kind, fun, and helpful. Both were excellent drivers, and we always felt safe.

This company is the oldest in the area, so they are very experienced. Don’t hesitate choosing this company!! Be sure to tip the guides - they work so so hard and provide a great service!

It was such an amazing journey with the team at Andes Salt who took care of us every step of the way. Would highly recommend to sign up for their superior 3d2N package. Our guide, Cristian and driver, Oscar kept us entertained, sharing with us their local culture, knowledge of the sites we visited, history and legends, introduced us to the food and people of Uyuni and beyond. Our hearts and soul are full !!

We had a great time with Cristian, our tour guide and Fernando, our driver. They brought us away from all the other tourists and changed the schedule so that we could enjoy things without that many other people around as it was high season. The food was great and there even were some snacks and wine prepared for us that we could enjoy to one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. They also were very experienced in taking photos and helped us a lot. Would 100% recommend!

We had a salt flat tour with another operator, which didn't show up. We called Andes Salt Expeditions last minute (literally), and they managed to accommodate us very quickly. Pleasant and professional experience. We had the private day tour with Fernado, which was great! We visited all the famous spots, got photos, and enjoyed wine with the sunset. It's totally recommended! Would book again!

This is a great company to deal with. They responded in a timely manner via WhatsApp and in English if that helps. They had a purely English tour available and didn’t mix languages up through the tour. They had us move our vehicle to their shop and kept an eye on it while we were on the tour. Our tour operator José was a great guy and driver and took care of all our needs. Highly recommended. Did I mention that they are substantially cheaper than the high end tour operators but offer the same service?

We went in late February and saw the beautiful reflections in the Salar during a full day tour.
Our guide, Fernando, was incredible! He explained all the interesting things there and went above and beyond making sure we're having a good time. 10/10 would do again

We had the best time got to see a lot. Beimar is the best tour guide that speak perfect English makes it fun. By the end of the 3 day tour you feel like you and the other 5 people and Beimar are family. I recommend this tour company completely and if you can get Beimar as your driver and tour guide you wont be sorry.

Great trip with great tour guides and drivers!! We had a fantastic 3 days with Christian and our driver Selso. Very comfy in V8 land cruisers (avoid the Nissan patrols, saw a few broken down lol) and they all have seatbelts for those who have travel insurance 👌 the food was all delicious, make sure to let them know if you are vegan etc beforehand, or else you’ll be eating a lot of bread lol I’m not tho so I ate everything and it was epic! If you’ve never been to altitude MAKE SURE YOU ARE PREPARED. We had a few in the tour who got owned by the altitude. Pack a small bag for necessities as your main bag is on the roof all day. Overall it was an unreal experience and I would do it again for sure! Best price and service of any tour we sussed out. Well worth it. Thanks to the tour operators for a great experience!!!

Great tour operator and the best guide we ever had on a tour. José made our 3 days tour incredible. He was funny, very knowledgeable and super helpful. Without him it would have been a different experience. We also had an issue with a tourist from another tour operator which was very rude and shouted at us in many occasions, asking us to shut up because he was apparently shooting a film, and José was incredibly calm and helped us manage the situation in the best way possible, trying to avoid him and avoid us being more upset.

We did a two night three day tour with the transfer to Chile. Jose was a super great guide, he explained all the locations well and was enthusiastic with our group. Although it is more expensive than other tour groups it’s worth the price. Accomodation both nights were good too (although second night had limited electricity).

The tour was fantastic, we were well taken care from the team in every moment. Our driver Fernando was careful and fast to bring us around. He also took professional pictures of us, and brought us to view the stars, beautiful experience. Cristian was explaining us in great English the details of all the steps, and answering every doubt. At the sunset we had a pleasant surprise organized for free by the team: local wine and snacks, unforgettable!

Highly recommend this tour company! Very well organised, our English speaking guide Wascar was very fluent and knowledgeable and was great company too. We got the medium package which included private rooms with bathroom and warm showers and everything was very clean and comfortable. Recommend 😊

We had the most wonderful trip with Jose during our 3 day 2 night trip! I would highly recommend the experience: with 3 days, you not only get a comprehensive tour of the Salt flats, but also a wonderful introduction to the desert (including many beautiful lagoons, volcanoes, rock formations, wildlife, geysers and hot springs). All the accommodation was very comfortable and the food throughout the trip was great. Jose was an expert on the area and had so much great information to share. He spoke exceptional English, always found ways for us to enjoy sights without the crowds and kept up great energy during the whole trip. I cannot recommend Jose and Andes Salt Expeditions enough!

We booked a 3 day 2 night and had a wonderfull experience. You see so many natural sights and wonders that it is hard to process everything.

Our guide Christian was wonderfull human being. Really knowledgable, always friendly and caring. One of the best tourguides i ever met on my travels around the globe.
Our Driver Pelagio was also really friendly and brought us safely and fast from A to B.

So far this was my absolute highlight visiting Bolovia.
If i could give 6 stars i would. Can't recommend it enough!

Bolivia isn’t for the ones that expect luxury, but you get so much from the views, the nature, and sights!!!
I did Uyuni 3D, 2N - the roads are a bit rougher but the sights you see are an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT! Our guide/driver/mechanic/etc Axel, was great. He deeply cares about the environment, how we need to be connected to it, and enjoy the experience for what it is!
The dinners were great, breakfasts were quite disappointing. Not much to offer in fact, but we are in the middle of nowhere!!!
I took the mid range package but found out you could upgrade your room for only 140Bs, so a VERY small fraction of what they charge you extra from standard to mid range package.

Top tip: TAKE WARM CLOTHES!!! The weather can be bitter cold, with a wind that can almost blow you! Layers is the way to go!

I can’t recommend this tour enough… it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited! And I had high expectations….

Tip - for those going to San Pedro Atacama after Uyuni - you CAN fill out the paper form at the aduana, so you don’t need to pay for internet access like I did on the second night. Also, you’d only need 3 days in Atacama as lots of the tours there are very similar to Uyuni. I’ve shortened my trip from 5 to 3 days here.

I don't normally write reviews, but in this case I felt compelled to. The level of service received from our guide Christian and driver Osvaldo was exceptional, they really put the needs of the guests first and tried to give us the best experience possible.

Christian is not only one of the best guides I've come across but also the most down to earth and caring guy you will meet. He really went above and beyond his duties and even hosted me in his family home for the night after the tour because there was a roadblock/protest preventing me from crossing the Argentinian border that night, what a legend! He also speaks perfect English being a university English professor, something that is rare to find in Bolivia even when they sell you an "English tour".

The tour was amazing! Israel was our guide and he was the best guide we ever had. And we did many tours. So ask for Israel! He has a super positive energy, makes amazing pictures and videos, and told us amazing things about the salt flakes. Really recommended! Good lunch included (also vegan options). We did the 1-day and saw so many beautiful places. Star gazing is also included. Many other agencies don’t have this included in the day tours. Amazing ending of a great day!
