Danube Garden

Very good place to visit. It is well suited for all ages, from toddlers to guys that are already retired. For the youngsters there are several playgrounds, for the kids in school there is cycling alleys, so they can ride their bicycles, a small football field for the older kids, and plenty of benches and tables for the older people to play chess, backgammon and cards. So if you are around go for a walk there, and you will enjoy the Danube River as well.

Update 2022: Still great place to visit with your kids. Lots of place to play In the garden, and walk around, ride bicycle, or just have fun :)

A great place to walk, for children to play, and also istorical site. A lot of plants, flowers and trees, very well care for. There is a very old tree- 112 years old. You have to visit if you go in Silistra!

The biggest Danube Garden across Bulgaria is in Silistra. I was impressed how the Municipal upgraded it, it beautiful place to spend near the Danube River... so many playgrounds, kids can have fun, eldest can enjoy all small areas and play a different outdoor games. Well done!

A lovely city park along the Danube river. A lot of green alleys, fountains, large variety of trees, benches, children playgrounds. It is kept clean and in good shape. Stunning view of the river at sunset. It is at its best during spring and autumn. Great place to go for a walk with your family or friends, drink a coffee or a beer.

Beautiful and tranquil. It’s been renovated and is well maintained. Highly recommended to any tourists or visitors.

Great place for walking and relaxing

Beautiful! Very nice to walk around in, stunning view of the Danube river. There are always beautiful flowers. Just be careful to avoid injuries on the playgrounds.

Nice lush green vegetation. Long enough to go for a run inside although a lap is about a kilometre. Stunning view of the Danube river.

Wonderful park following the edge of the River Danube into the centre of Silistra. Plenty of great benches to sit on and lovely views of the water. Snacks and refreshments available at cafes and kiosks.

a nice, refreshing park.. plenty of seats and relaxing areas with fascinating view.. but mosquitos are disturbing night and day.. officials have to take actions immediately..

Great place to relax and recharge.

Very nice place to visit right next to the river that borders with Romania. It's got a park for the kids, a small football court and a place for kids to play with their bikes and skates. It's got plenty of benches so you can sit under the trees and enjoy the view of the river. You can come by yourself also and enjoy.reading a good book. Highly recommend especially in the summer as thats when it is a its best.
