Cafe Local 38

Excellent barista-made coffee. The flat white was perfectly done. They sell their own coffee beans, and know a lot about flavours and varieties. The atmosphere is charming, with a Co-working space upstairs.

Good espresso, very interesting interior of the cafe and friendly staff. The cafe also has a pet 🐕. I will definitely come back.

This café was one of the highlights of my trip to Sofia. The coffee quality is top, nice variety and the atmosphere is amazing. I loved the decoration and there is enough space to have your privacy with your friends.
Service and coffee was that good that I went more than twice. Highly recommended 👏🏻

Very cozy coffee shop that has the best coffee I've tried in Sofia during my stay here. One of my favorite places to catch up with friends. The ambiance is warm, welcoming. An overall amazing place to enjoy a coffee.

The shop opens a little later than most cafes (9a) and stays open later than most cafes (10 p.m.).

My only two recommendations for the shop:

1) DECAFFEINATED ESPRESSO. Your baristas are knowledgeable and friend — and the espresso drinks are delicious. One small recommendation: I would love if you offered decaffeinated coffee options. A lot of folks don't drink caffeine in the late afternoon/evening - and I find that I would go to Local 38 more often if you offered decaf espresso options.

2) MUSIC VOLUME. Your space is fantastic for reading and working — as well as catching up with friends. I would recommend making the two upstairs side rooms available without music to allow people in those rooms to more easily focus.

All in all a fantastic shop that I'm glad I've found. I highly recommend treating yourself to a stop by this incredible cafe.

Super barista place, amazing authentic atmosphere and pleasant service. Prices are great and all is so inviting! I'd recommend it.

Lovely place for a coffee with good vibe and plenty of armchairs. A balcony in the back to be on the sun in the morning.
They also have a coworking area in case you have some work to get done on your laptop!

Can’t recommend this place more. I recently discovered this hidden gem in the heart of Sofia. The warm ambiance, coupled with super friendly staff, creates an inviting atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to work or unwind. It’s also laptop friendly. This place has quickly become my go-to for great coffee and wine. Highly recommend!

Local38 is definitely one of my favorite place at Sofia there something special in this place, where you can work, have à coffee or a drink and talk with strangers you didn't know just before to come. I highly recommend !

Amazing coffee/bar/lounge place in the center. They have great coffee, smoothies, wine, a cocktail selection and a very cozy atmosphere for reading, working or hanging out.

Amazing Café! The decor is beautiful, with all the right notes of vintage, art and cozy. Music is fresh and just adds up to the chill atmosphere.
The staff is kind and detail oriented. From the honey cold brew to the cocktails, everything was a top notch.
