This park is awesome! Perfect for a leisurely stroll or jog. I love just chilling on the grass, soaking up the sun. It's also fantastic for quality time with the kids – they have a blast on the playground. Definitely my go-to spot for outdoor relaxing.

Very nice park with plenty of space and alleys that you can enjoy for leisure, sport and hang around. However, we shall still be honest that it needs renovation and a bit better maintenance

The best, the biggest, the different, my favourite park in Sofia. Variety of trees, wild animals, birds. There is a “wild” part with soft paths perfect for runners and little kids, and the other bigger official part with different alleys, benches, places for snack, drinks, a restaurant. A great open bar with live concerts is hidden there too - “Maimunarnika” like “the monkey”.

The biggest park in Sofia, Borisova has many pretty places for recreation, for kids to play, to read a boom in peace, to sit and enjoy a lungful of fresh air amidst the city's hustle and bustle.
One of the best places to visit, in any time of the year, but the park truly comes to life between April and October. The spring greenery, the summer freshness, and the colorful autumn make it a place of many faces and ambiances that never fail to charm in their distinct ways.

The oldest and best-known park in Sofia is Borissova gradina (Borissova garden) . Its construction and arrangement began in 1884 and it is named after Bulgarian Tsar Boris III.
Today the park offers a lot of activities for every taste. Here you will find the National stadium, professional football stadiums, tennis courts, hippodrome, lakes, a cycling truck, as well as several cafes and children’s play areas. The park is very shady in the hot summer days, filled with lovely flowerbeds. It is a popular destination for Bulgarians and tourists to go for a walk or a picnic or to gather and have a cold drink under the tree shadows. A lot of people are riding bicycles or do some physical trainings.
The Borissova gradina is filled with statues of Bulgarian writers, painters and politicians from the past. One of the most popular places in the park is the Water Lilly Lake. The eastern end of the park is dominated by a gigantic communist monument built in 1956. It’s known as the Mound of Brotherhood, and features a 42m-high obelisk and socialist-realist icons including a pair of partisan fighters.

It's a park - people with dogs and bikes all around. If you live in Lozenets, it is quite close and it is always refreshing to see the greenery as opposed to the concrete jungle that is Sofia.

Very big, really pretty, great location. Probably the best and most diverse hangout spot in the city, it is really incorporated in every part of a person's day. The nature is pure and wild at times, really unique, and unlike any other park in the European capitals, a true gift

Amazing park to picnic, walk or exercise. There is big kids playground, many benches and some tables in the forest area. Also a restaurant and a escenario. But some paths need to be re done, and a few bike lanes will be much appreciated

This park is probably the most beautiful park in Sofia, there are many nice places and emblematic ones, such as the lake with the Lilies or the Ariana lake! There is also an Arboretum which unfortunately is not open to visitors at the moment! There is also a pool, which is also currently closed! There are nice alleys, nice nature and wooded area! Unfortunately, the lighting and security are not very good in this park! There are areas where there is no lighting at all! In general, it's a nice park, but there is still things for improvement!

One of my two favorite parks in Sofia (the other being South Park). Good access by car, bus and subway. Very lifely in the weekends.

Probably one of the best places in Sofia for walking, resting or spending time with a family. There is a really gorgeous garden inside the park. Recommend 👍

This is arguably the best park in Sofia. It's definitely the largest. There's amazing facilities for kids, picnics, riding bikes, playing tennis, and more activities. There's also a more secluded part full of wildlife.

A giant, beautiful park with crisscrossing trails for biking and walking. The trails are wild, but we'll maintained. The mountain bikers have taken over several of the gulches (in a good way) and turned them into flow tracks and jump tracks with some pretty serious doubles and drops in some areas. Once you're off the beaten path, you really find the beauty of this park.
