Zlatanoff Rose Oil & Souvenirs

This store🏪 has a wide variety of not only rose 🌹 products, but also a lot of souvenirs. The cashier was helpful and polite, and even let me take pictures inside the store. Card payments 💳 are not accepted unless your total is at least 100lv otherwise you would have to pay in cash 💵.

Definitely a place not to be missed! Lovely little shop with variety of souvenirs. I really liked the hand made leather koukers. Recommended!!

Very beautiful shop with nice bulgarian souvenirs and cosmetic .I recommend the genuine rose oil.

I don't reccomend this store as there is another one just 2 mins away by walking and in the same street "Bul. Vitosha" with a lot of variety.The cashier is not so welcoming and not friendly and she screams the price as if I were a thief.I hope to meet a friendlier and more polite cashier ,not asking for a smile ,but at least respect and politeness.The store is small for tourists, although I bought from this store.

My experience at this shop really put a damper on my time in Bulgaria.

“Sorry I don’t speak good English,” one of the shop assistants purported after I returned to this shop kindly requesting a refund on a 7ml bottle of karlovo rose oil I bought just a few minutes earlier.

This was after she was speaking perfectly fine English when she was selling me on the oil! After I pulled up my Google translate app and showed her what I was trying to communicate, she deflected further: “There’s issues with the card…and the banks.” At this point, I couldn’t muster the energy to fight and just left the shop, realising I’ve essentially been scammed and hard done by.

The cost of this same item on the official website at my time of writing is BGN356.24. Still steep but nowhere near as stupendously high as the BGN590 I paid and was refused to be refunded for.

I’m sure most wouldn’t have made my initial mistake so I don’t need to warn about making sure you ask for the price before buying but I would definitely recommend checking to see if you can get the same items at a fair price elsewhere if you’re looking to shop here.

This place has a good selection but it is tiny inside. If you are claustrophobic stay away. It’s very hard to move let alone shop in here. The lady that works there is nice and they have good prices but it is not a comfortable shopping experience.
