Old Sailor

I was lucky that the Old Sailor was still open at the end of the season! I had mussels, fries and garlic bread. The food was delicious and very fresh! You could see that people working there do that with love! Will definitely visit again next summer :)

Absolutely fabulous ! The swordfish is beautiful, the prawns are to die for !! Garlic bread is an absolute must !!!! Great prices and fantastic staff. 5/5 all around !

Absolutely delicious fish meal overlooking St Sophia's church. Really attentive friendly staff speaking fluent English. My favourite restaurant here. One of the first places I'll visit when back in Bulgaria

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews seen on Trip Advisor. The waiters were very pleasant and accommodating. The menu included seafood and some other traditional Bulgarian dishes, but the restaurant is primarily a seafood place. We ordered Mussels in White wine, Fried Shrimp in a rich tomato and garlic sauce, fries, garlic bread and 2 glasses of white wine. The food was delicious and the wine cool and tasty. We ate and drank our fill and the bill was very reasonable. I can definitely recommend this establishment and will be returning to sample more of their menu shortly.

Great food, I think it's the best fish we've ever eaten. The service is very friendly and at the highest level. The restaurant is in the middle of the old town which is a huge plus. Thank you and see you. Greetings to the whole team!

The best restaurant in old Nessebar, all food is perfectly tasty. You must visit this place!

Very nice seafood restaurant with great colorful interior. We got kjapul - aubergine spread, delicious, octopus and mussels in tomato sauce. Staff very nice nice and fast, very good service, nice wines. Nice place next to church. Fully recommended

Three years ago, we had the pleasure of visiting this place, and our affection for it remains unwavering. Returning now, we aimed to ascertain if the experience retained its charm, and indeed, it has remained consistent. The excellence in food, the staff's exceptional service, and the overall ambiance continue to impress. I wholeheartedly endorse this restaurant for anyone exploring Nessebar. Without a doubt, I will make it a point to return on my next visit to Nessebar.

The best place in Old Nessabar to eat. We recommend it! we love going back there. Very good fresh food especially sea bream and sea bass. We also recommend mussels, the best we ate in Bulgaria. Decent food prices.

Amazing food, great service, great location. I was very impressed with the how fresh and tasty everything was! The salads and fish we had were delicious. The goats' cheese starter in particular is superb!

Great place with cozy atmosphere and astonishing food. A large variety of food to choose from with good prices and a nice serving. The main dishes don't come with anything on the side even thought that's how they are presented in the menu and also the portions are big so keep this in mind. 5/5 stars without any doubt!

We found this wonderful place in the center of Nessebar. Elegant restaurant with fast serving, master chef plating and the taste of the food is fabulous. The lobster is presented at the table alive, the seafood is fresh and the prices are decent. It is a worthwhile experience if you arrive in Nessebar, even if there are many restaurants by the sea. Everything was perfect!

Such a cute place with a wonderful view over the ruins! Food was great and staff is super frienly. We really loved been here and will be back for sure!

We got here using 'Trip advisor' recommendation and i must say, it was really-REALLY good! Service was very fast and thoughtful. Nice location behind old church in the centre of the city. And the most important thing-cuisine. Everything was super delicious, portions was quite big and fairly inexpensive (for size of portions and quality of food). Highly recommend this place to spend your lunch or dinner (must-try: their special dish-stuffed clam)!!!

The food is very tasty and well cooked. We definitely recommend it for anybody. Prices are moderate but it's worth any leva. The stuff is very kind and they know the menu in any language 😃 thanks for having us!

The location is amazing in the heart of the old town.

During the off-season when there is no traffic and you have the place for yourself the place is very enjoyable and peaceful.

Asking the waiter for the recommendation is the way to go at least for me.
I've got on point recommendations and was told what is fresh/local and a signature dish for the restaurant.
I did respect the recommendations and was very pleased.
Food was balanced, tasty and delicious. My only regret is that I did not order a dessert.
