Amazing place which immediately transfers you to the old Bulgarian times. There is a nice garden, good service and good prices. Must try is the slanina(great for beer), but keep in mind it is not for all tastes because it is made out of pork fat.

Perfect combination of delicious traditional dishes and ethnic architecture. Gastronomic and historical travel in the past. Highly recommended.

The best place in Lovetch to taste traditional Bulgarian dishes, listen to lovely folklore music, and enjoy time with friends. If you go in a hot summer day, and there are not a lot of people you can really cut yourself from the rest of the world and just enjoy the atmosphere of the place. Highly recommend!

If you want to dive into Bulgarian culture, while eating a very tasty and big meal, this is the place for you. The tavern is located in the old town of Lovech, underneath the Lovech Stronghold, it is a big old wooden house with a big garden. The whole atmosphere is very traditional and folklore - the meals, the decoration, the clothes of the staff, even the music are selected to help you feel like you are in old school Bulgaria.

The food is delicious, especially the "lyutika salad" and the chicken hearts. Ratio price - quality is great

Mehana (in Bulgarian) Varosha is a good place for delicious and traditional food. I like this place and if you're in Lovech I recommend this place.
