Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia

One of the best hotels we have been to. The food is amazing and extremely delicious. Rooms are great with a beautiful view over Sofia. The location is perfect you can walk to all the shops without taking a taxi. Great gym, atmosphere, rooftop! Truly recommend this hotel!

Perfect hotel. Great value. Our room was huge, perfectly clean, we had an awesome view and the beds were comfortable. Prices are more than fair. Great options for restaurants, nice rooftop bar, a casino and a cute little breakfast bar are all located here as well. Want to come back for sure!

Great place to stay when visiting Sofia. Close to the city. Great facilities. Gym is well equipped, spa lovely and bars and restaurants served great food and drink. Rooms are spacious and luxurious.

One of the best places in Sofia for business meetings and conferences. Great facilities and awesome food. The location is central and relatively easy to access. The parking is pretty expensive though

A great hotel in a great place. Very well connected to the city center. Huge rooms, big bathrooms. Breakfast is spectacular, lots of good food for everyone. The only complaint is the elevators which work very strangely so it happens that you go up and down and it takes a while to get to the desired floor.

This hotel is really nice. The room is huge, and so is the bathroom. They left me a beautiful fruit bowl when checking in. Breakfast was really good with plenty of options. The gym is a full health club that they give you access to.

There is a tram line right in front of the hotel you can take in to the city center, or it's a fairly short walk. Tons of restaurant options within a short walk as well.

Millennium Hotel is a good combination of location and acceptable quality of service. On the one hand, the advantage of the hotel base is that it is still new. It is kept clean. The environment is usually calm. In the rooms/apartments, the equipment lacks toothbrushes and toothpaste (for single use), as well as there is no notebook or sheets of paper on which one can write if necessary. That aside, the high elevations give a nice view over the city. It is nice when you are facing east because it gives advantage to see the beautiful sunrise over the city. The west-facing rooms are more of a compromise because you can see part of the neighboring Millennium Center tower. On the other hand, there is something to be desired from the service staff. Some employees behave at a lower level than expected for a 5 star hotel. Specifically, those responsible for the parking lot on Vitosha Boulevard. They have a strange "face control" and an expression typical of the time of the 90s, when in Sofia it was popular to walk around with a bat in hand... ( this could be a joke in case it is true )
I recommend visiting the hotel's restaurants and trying the menu. Ozone Bar is also a great place especially after sunset and you can enjoy delicious cocktails and drinks. The hotel has a luxurious fitness and spa center, as well as a swimming pool. Next door, Millennium also has a Casino - a place where, in the right mood, you can also have fun, as long as you know how to lose, of course. And opposite when you win, everyone smiles and politely and kindly motivates you to continue your game. Let's hope that luck doesn't let you down and "from being a toy, it becomes a crybaby". In summary, the management policy seems to be paying off and the hotel is developing in a direction desired by the market in capital Sofia.
I recommend you visit it and enjoy the facilities.

Modern hotel with very spacious and well equipped rooms. Good quality breakfast. Located at a 5 minute walk from downtown Sofia, it has a parking and several facilities on the spot, including swimming pool, hairdresser, top notch fitness room, restaurants. Some staff members are very friendly, others do the minimum, but all in all ok. Roof top sushi bar good but overpriced. Having stayed in several hotels in Sofia, I definitely recommend this one.

Spacious room and bathroom. Soundproofing not good enough as we listened to the traffic and the party that was going on until early morning hours. The thermal area is amazing but the swimming pools are a bit strange with lots of stairs, small and very warm (32+ degrees).

The hotel is great. Clean and well maintained good atmosphere. An unusual breakfast in Europe.
I would like to thank for the exceptional treatment we received on the day of our arrival at the hotel. As a result of a misunderstanding, we were given a room with no view at all, and after seeing the heartbreak, the shift manager at the reception made a decision to move us to a room with a panoramic view

We stayed in a grand suite for 2 nights. The hotel is very big, has an excellent gym, excellent spa area with saunas etc. and a pleasant massage (not the firmest, but good anyway).

There is a casino and a Asian fusion themed restaurant. The food at the restaurant was good, the quality of the ribeye, seafoods etc. was excellent. Everything except for a dry tuna was very delicious. There was a DJ playing loud music (personally I prefer sound tempered and quiet rooms, but that is a matter of taste, I guess). The interior was contemporary and international both in the restaurant and elsewhere. The bar at the top floor followed the same theme and had excellent drinks. The breakfast was good but it wasn’t on pair with the other aspects of the hotel (have had better breakfasts at other 5- star hotels). There was only a few vegetables and the juice was not freshly pressed. But there was a huge amount of cakes.

The service was in general far better than most other places in Sofia, although the staff is not as smiling as in Scandinavia or the US.

So I recommend the hotel if you are staying in Sofia.

Beautiful hotel, with spacios and lux rooms, close to city center. You have everything you need in the hotel: several restaurants with great food, casino, night bar…

We stayed for 3 days, the hotel is huge, the room was big and everything was new the fridge, Nespresso machine and the toilet was perfect. Opening the Electric curtains and you see the amazing mountain. The restaurant was so good with different varieties of food at breakfast. The roof restaurant has great view to Sofia. I totally recommend this place.

Very cosy place! The rooms are spqcious, the service is incredible. The whole building is pretty nice. The location is super! Amazing view from the higher floors.

Modern and luxury hotel within walking distance from the city center of Sofia. The rooms are really spacious and modern designed. From the higher floors you have an amazing view over Sofia and on Vitosha mountain.

Most of the staff is friendly and helpful, although some are a bit more reserved. The facilities are great, especially the gym and the spa. Also the rooftop bar is definitely a place to check out.

Great experience staying in a 30 floor new hotel (build in 2021). Amazing view from the room, many fast elevators (3 transparent). Staff was very kind and helpful, we had info for everything we asked for. What I didn’t like was that I had to pay extra 21€ per night for the parking (paying 300€/night for a family room, I believe that parking must be free…).

About the rooms: Just GREAT ! Amazing view (we stayed at the 17th floor). We got a family room ( “premium connected rooms”) - totally 100 sq.m ! Fully equipped with everything we could expect, made my kids … happy 😄 ! Very clean, very modern, very very comfortable.

Stayed here twice now. I really like it. The staff were really nice on my second trip, and they also found some lost property of mine. Just a short walk to the pedestrianised area of town. Good views from the upper floors. Great, clean amenities. Decent buffet breakfast (I mean, there’s even cake!). The gym is absolutely brilliant and the spa is definitely good to unwind in - I like that it is extra to use that facility as it doesn’t get too busy, and remains calm. Great place to stay. Hopefully I’ll be back!

The hotel is very big. The rooms are very spacious and cosy. The building offers a great variety of restaurants and bars as well as a casino. The spa is great and also spacious. The location is very close to the heart of the city and at the same time not in the noisy area. The high floors offer amazing views of the whole city. My favorite is the fact that some rooms have a view in the bathroom so you can enjoy a bathtub while overlooking the mountains

Among the best hotels in Sofia, if not the top one. Multiple and varied amenities on-site, casino included. Also multiple and very good restaurants/cafes in the building, some with very good view of the city.
