Favourite place for a hike close to Sofia. Tasty food, good atmosphere, passionate volunteers, cute cats and really accessible

Lovely spot. I like that it's not yet that popular and crowded as other huts around. I also followed how it was actually renovated with lots of volunteers helping to make it the place it is now. The hosts were really kind and welcomed us. Recommended to check out for all mountain people

One of the "new wave" huts in Vitosha mountain. Young and kind people take care of the shelter. Tasty food like wild mushrooms and bean soup, handmade cake etc. The walk from Dragalevski monastery to the Kikish is very quiet and easy. Kikish is very good place for one day escape from the city. Strongly recommend. 👍👍👍

Less then 1 hour walking through a beautiful forest and you are in shelter Kikish. Tasty mushroom soup and good shelter keepers. The Kikish peak is on 5 min from the shelter with panorama view to Sofia.

Small but very quiet and beautiful shelter. Visit it during the weekends since the hut manager may not be present on the weekdays. He is spending his own money to restore the shelter since it was a ruin.

Very nice and quiet place. It is far from the crowded trails and at the same time it is close to the main road and huts in Vitosha mountain.

Много приятна атмосфера. Хижарите са супер дружелюбни и позитивни. Готвят много вкусно, като каймата е специална.
Чаят е в голеееми чаши, билков, с преобладаващ вкус на липа.
Вътре бумти печката и може да оставите дреги или обувки да ви изсъхнат, а навън правят скарата и има доста маси, на които може да се седне.
Новината е, че в менюто вече имат и вегетарианско "шкембе", с гъба Кладница.

Мястото е уникално, а стопаните са невероятни млади хора. Правят най-вкусните домашни бисквитки! Кюфтенцата бяха домашни, ухаеха толкова апетитно, вкусът им е невероятен! Шапка свалям на тези хора! Препоръчвам това място на всеки планинар!

Чудесно място, далече от тълпите. Има за хапване ограничен асортимент, но все пак е заслон без лесен достъп.Личи си, че хората се стараят да му вдъхнат живот.
