As far as I'm concerned, this is the best place in Blagoevgrad that you can eat. Dishes are basically "visiting grandma" --- very tasty, HUGE portions, very affordable! And given the restaurant is located (almost) above the river, in good weather, this makes it the best! I especially recommend it to large groups of friends. Will visit again!

We loved the place! Nicely designed with a beautiful view on the river and wonderful atmosphere. The service is super kind although a little overloaded at peak hours. The food is delicious and comes beautifully plated and very quickly!
In addition there's a big screen where sports games are projected.

I'm a tripe sup seeker and normally whenever I have a chance, I'm just getting out to different places around Bulgaria and looking for the BEST tripe sup that I can get it!
Let me tell you: This is the best tripe sup on the west side of the country! The second best tripe sup you can find is in Plovdiv, so in this case, it doesn't even count! Highly recommend this place!

2015 review: Best restaurant in the universe!

We stopped at Bar Diva for a late lunch after a long morning spent travelling from the UK to Bansko. It was our first time in Bulgaria, and the staff here gave us such a hospitable welcome. The food was really good and very well-priced…. we enjoyed a feast of delicious dishes and Bulgarian specialities, including sizeable salads and chips with white cheese (yum). The setting by the river was lovely, too. Recommend stopping here!

The best place you can come for a dinner in town. Food is delicious and comes into huuuge portions! Mind sharing is always useful if you don't want to get filled with just the salad!

Such a nice place near the center of old town of Blageovgrad situated by the river. Even if it’s inexpensive it’s very nice place to go and even to take your girlfriend to. And it’s not just a nice place but the cuisine is very delicious too. We have tried four dishes and they all were really awesome. Just give it a visit and you will see for yourself.
