Church built by a Italian arhitect, looking much more like some western style churches, perfect for this city.

A gorgeous church named after the brothers they created the Cyrillic alphabet. They had to close down the church for a couple of years before redoing the foundation due to a company building a car park underneath it- but now it’s open!

The cathedral has been an important part of the city of Burgas's history for over a century. It has been going through quite a few remodelings, restorations and "facelifts" but now, towards the end of this long journey of rejuvenation, the cathedral and its nice little square in front are shaping up to be a real monument and symbol of christianity, hope and faith for their many visitors. It's free to visit. It's not huge but it bears the weight of history. A "must-see" for every one visiting Burgas and the Black Sea coast!!
