Small bakery with delicious pastries. I decided to try the raisin cream puff since I took it in the afternoon and it wasn't as crispy as in the morning. I was delicious, moderately sweet.

I have been going there to pick something for breakfast lots of times and their menu just never disappoints. The ladies are always super friendly despite the fast pace of service. Highly recommend 🫶🏻

Delicious kozunak for Easter. We tried the traditional one with raisins, the one with chocolate and almonds, and the larger ones with candies and almonds and enjoyed them all. My favourite was the chocolate. There was a loooong queue but it went fast. 😋🍫🐣

This is a chain bakery in Sofia. The baker is fresh out of oven and delicious. I got 3 different bakeries and paid 9 BGN. Employees know English. Unfortunately there is no seating. This place is only for take away.

Pretty good as the first place to try in my new weekly search for my favourite bakery in Sofia, need to try more of their delights to give it a better review though,not that expensive either.

This place was on my list but as it turned out I didn't visit it on purpose. I was just walking down the street when I smelled their delicious Easter breads and had to buy one. With chocolate. It was heavenly. I realized it was Jovan's the next day when I noticed the stamp on the packaging.

One of my favorite bakeries in Sofia! Not a traditional place as you can tell by the name, but has plenty of options to start you day!

The amount of pastries they offer is impressive! I had a Nutella croissant and a vanilla tart, both were really good

Very friendly staff who seemed pleased to serve me. English subtitles on all products in the display case for those who don’t speak Bulgarian were very helpful. Last but not least, the croissant was quite tasty!

Really good! Pastries are really light and tasty. They have a variety of Bulgarian and Dutch pastries/breads so be sure to check them out when in Sofia!

JoVan Dutch Bakery has been very popular since it opened. They offer a good variety of bread and snacks, both typical for Bulgaria and other European countries. I think it will suit all tastes.

A Dutch baker decided to start his business in Sofia. He collected old original Bulgarian bread recipes and started selling them in his shop. Large queues at holidays (like Easter) shows he did right. But this place is not only for Bulgarians or Dutch people like me, there is a large variety of bread and sweets. Being successful like he is, he recently opened his second shop in the center of Sofia.

Spotted this one some weeks ago. The hot thing here is the taste of the products. Super classy bakery. Love it!

Incredible bakery! Unbelievable variety, delicious and tasty bread, pies etc.

The best bread in the neighborhood. Both Dutch and Bulgarian traditional bread, fresh from the oven. The croissants however need more butter.
