What an out of this world experience. Not fluent in Bulgarian, they were happy to communicate with me in English. The staff were really amazing. To celebrate my birthday they treat me amazingly. Had some delicious food, and then they surprised me with a fantastic dessert. The restaurant itself is a dazzle. With a space theme, the lights move into different constellations, and then a massive centre piece of a black hole. Absolutely amazing. Would have loved more of that in other areas but very tasty trip.

We had an amazing dining experience at Cosmos, what an explosion of flavors! Each dish was excellent. We started off with the Asparagus, which was a creamy yet refreshing salad. For the main, we ordered the Beef and Dock, which was one of the best meat dishes I’ve tried in a very long time. The beef was cooked perfectly; it was so tender and flavorful. The cheesy dock pairing took the dish to a next level, I would definitely recommend it. We also ordered the Wild Catch, which was an arctic chard served on a buttery saffron base. It was so light and flavorful. For dessert, we ordered the Banitsa & Boza. The chef’s take on a Bulgarian breakfast classic💯. If you’ll order a single dessert, definitely order this one. We also tried their signature “Bulgarian Rose” which was also good but rather too sweet for my liking. If you don’t like rose flavor, this might not be a good choice; nevertheless it was made so beautifully. Service was top-notch, with super friendly and helpful staff. Overall, this restaurant is a must visit for anyone travelling to Sofia!🙌🏼

We had a fantastic evening and a delicious meal - we had the tasting menu. Next to the great food we had lovely company from Alexander and his team who told us everything about the - mostly regional- origin of the food and wine. The atmosphere was fantastic and very personal. I highly recommend to stop by and enjoy their hospitality!!

Excellent elevated modernised Bulgarian food, and among the highlights of my Balkans trip so far!

The waiter was great at explaining each dish, and he was really friendly.

I recommend booking a reservation at least a day in advance—it was almost full when my group arrived, and we had to sit at the bar.

We had a wonderful meal here and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.
The staff and service was second to none, our waitress clearly loved her job and was very passionate and knowledgeable about the food.
The chef / founder, came to talk to each table which is a great touch and he spoke with great passion.
The food was fabulous and really quite special and was not expensive, I had the Beef with Dock and it was unusual but delicious.
The deserts were to die for.

Cosmos attempts to create a contemporary spin on classic Bulgarian dishes and does it flawlessly! I went there for a lighter dinner, but would love to come back again for the full tasting menu!

Lots of praise to the staff, who were super professional while still maintaining a nice and relaxing atmosphere. They also recommended some great wines to go along with food the food.

The interior was also really nice and added well to the contemporary Bulgarian style.

Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would love to be back in the future to try more of what they have to offer!

They told us not to skip the deserts as they are the best!
The burger and the cauliflower meal we had were really nice! I also had the Benedict eggs, and they were OK.
The desserts didn't disappoint either.

Amazing restaurant, high class in his service, delicious dishes and a friendly staff that really know what they’re doing. Me as veggie/vegan eater could find without a doubt my enjoyment. Tried home made limoncello which was nice to experience. Perfect place 👌 to pass by in Sofia.

Absolutely loved it! Had margarita, Avocado toast, mimosa and the Bulgarian flower! Everything was really tasty! So good! The ambiance is nice, service is superb!

They really try hard to be a top restaurant. That’s why I’ll give five stars. That said, the food wasn’t at the level of other top restaurants we have been to. Still, I hope they figure things out as they have potential. The staff were very kind and attentive.

An absolute culinary-experience highlight of a trip to Sofia, be it either for lunch or dinner (NB: the former option offers an additional menu, which changes daily). Cosmos is definitely worth a visit, if only for their Bulgarian Rose dessert. 🇧🇬🌹🧁

The true place to experience Bulgarian food, with the finest quality of ingredients and decent cooking.

We really much enjoy the introduction fr staff for every dishes, especially on the selection of ingredients.

Bulgarian black Angus is really nice, with a super crispy and mouth watering potato as a side.

They also have a range of sauces made by themselves, like soy sauce and miso.

Very recommended to visit.

Our experience at Cosmos restaurant in Sofia was exceptional. Our waiter, Evo, was excellent, extremely knowledgeable, and passionate. His skill level and passion could place him among the finest servers in major cities like New York. The food manager, Nico, is wonderful, professional, and humble, recognizing that the restaurant’s success is a team effort, though he takes responsibility for their actions. My wife and I enjoyed a tasting course, choosing between vegetarian and meat dishes, with a total of 16 dishes. Thirteen of these were outstanding, deserving a 9 out of 10 rating. This is the best restaurant in Sofia according to each establishment we have eaten at and enjoyed. The restaurant tends to book up most days of the week, so it’s best to plan a few days ahead.

Wonderful place! Highly recommended. The food is tasty and presented in a great way. The service is well organized pleasend and enjoyable. They made their own fanta. For the desert please check their Garash cake (торта Гараш).

Small menu but that's all you need. Very creative and original food. We had Mahi mahi and Bulgarian beef as mains with Cream Bulgaria rose with strawberry ice cream and tobacco with coffee & ice cream as dessert. The food here exceeded all expectations, and the waiter was amazing, friendly and attentive to our needs. Highly recommended not to miss out!

One of the best restaurants in Sofia! All the dishes we got were excellent and I highly recommend their Bulgarian beef. The starter with their bread yeast butter was amazing.
